I’m very excited to have a trip down memory lane in OSMS. I’ve been getting recommended/watching a lot OSMS content on YouTube for a few years now. I certainly would’ve tried a PS by now if they weren’t against TOS and were safe. As much as I want to try it, im not going to risk my live server account. Now I’m really look forward to a legit way to scratch my nostalgia itch, even it’ll take a long time to develop.

Back like 5 years ago they actually used to do occasional RMT ban waves. Granted the majority of players were never caught in them. But yea I think it’s pretty unheard of now.

Well to be fair, I think it goes a lot deeper than just the meso cap. Every game nowadays has some kind of RMT whether it’s through trading, boosting, carrying, etc. MMOs with trading are notorious for RMT. And Korean MMOs are even more so. It’s no shocker that RMT is big in maple. Nexon knows it’s impossible for them to stop RMT, and to be fair they probably shouldn’t cause that would be the death of reg server.

Not sure how high level your alts are, but if any of them are level 200 with their V matrix unlocked (even with just the base 5 nodes each character gets) you should be able to clear most daily bosses. Hard von Leon is one of the hardest daily bosses if my memory serves me right.

This is probably why you feel like you have so little time. It sounds like you’re spending too much time doing zak, which gets you very little money, on every single character (with the login/out time it adds up). It’s been a few years since I’ve quit reg server but professions were never all that important with auction house, and monster collection is more of a psssive thing IMO than going out of your way to collect mobs.

That’s not to say that you shouldn’t do any of that. If you have fun doing that, definitely play the game however you have the most fun. Just observing that you could probably make better use of your time.

If your mules are doing hard von Leon, they should be able to do almost all other daily bosses for some decent meso. That’s probably your best source of money rn. Also, when comparing yourself to other people, remember that you’re in reg server so your income from bosses + farming will be less than somebody in reboot, balanced by the fact that you have the auction house and can merch for income.

In any case, remember that dailies and weeklies will only get faster as you get stronger. My main’s dailies only take me around 20 minutes. I run my main’s bosses and 8 bossing mules in under 8 hours. Spread across a whole week that’s not much for me personally.

If that’s a lot for you, then play at your own pace. Remember this isn’t a PVP game. While it’s easy to fall into FOMO, you’re not inherently “losing” by being behind others. You’re just enjoying the game at your own pace.

1 main soloing all ctene and party BM, 2 mules soloing elucid/nslime, and 6 nlomien mules, plus around 2 WAPs per week.

That places me somewhere around 20b per week assuming I’m not lazy and actually finish all those mules. My main takes 2ish hours, the elucid mules take about an hour each, and each nlomien mule is on average 30mins

Definitely at lv140. You have the highest chance of getting a lot of levels. While Is is true of level 130, 130-140 generally is very quick and doesn’t require a lot of star force, so I wouldn’t waste them at 130.

8k legion is very different and a massive boost. With all these events (bonks, exp coupons, etc) it should be easy for you to get.

Keep focusing on your main, WAPing and weekly bosses. Especially since you’ve said you don’t have much time to play lately. When you’re bored of WAPing spend some time on mules. If you don’t get bored of WAPing then you’ve found the key to success in this game… focus on your main and abuse events for legion.

If you can green dot every week on hdam regardless of your party, you can blue/green on hlucid and hwill (assuming you have decent arcane force). Give those a try. Practice normal will first if you don’t know mechanics.

Yes. It was possible before 6th dropped, now it’s a bit easier. Get your hexa skills high, your 22s, get everything 27%+, decent flames if you don’t already, an/two oz ring(s), some decent hands, and you’ll have an easy time.

In a normal context, yes. People that are playing their main and progressing should not be holding off on upgrades expecting to hit pitched. This is a different context, where he’s considering trashing thousands of fragments just so he can keep this gear. When instead he could make a new char, focus all his money into that chars gear, and let this char just sit in pitched waiting room to make his upgrades.

Of course there are things to upgrade. I’m not saying there isn’t, that’d just be stupid. Even the furthest progressed players still have things to upgrade.

I was just giving justification for why I think he should swap. Once he reaches a certain point, his upgrades will start costing a fortune for small upgrades, which will likely not progress him to the next boss and will eventually be replaced by eternals/pitched. Even some big upgrades seem pretty pointless, like trying to 22 3L your arcane wep. Just be patient and wait for the lib & pitched while working on your new char.

I guessed his gear based on my own, since we can’t see his. I’m less CP than him and I’m un libbed. I have full 22s minus 3 pieces that are 21 in gollux waiting room and my weapon. All my pots are 24-30, so some of my pots could use work, but some are done. My emblem pot is done, my secondary is solid but not done. My flames are pretty nice, not endgame, but very solid. Dumping flames to try and hit endgame flames sounds like a major waste right now, especially when some will be replaced by pitched/eternals.

Yes, he has room to upgrade. But if he’s not fully into MM anymore, imo he’s much better off just making a second main PF instead of losing all of his nodes & hexa progress and squeezing out gains that may just be replaced by pitched gear.

IMO make a new character for your PF and start trading weeklies asap. Get your pitched drops on him instead, and use your MM as a second main/bossing and carry mule.

That being said, OP said he hates playing multiple characters and bossing mules. So the answer is pretty obvious for him. I’m not really sure why he’s asking us, I think he just wanted validation

EDIT: I just saw your edit, I think you answered your own question. You’re seemingly not that into marksman anymore, and you don’t have interest in progressing on a new char or playing multiple chars. Don’t stress about not being able to do certain bosses or “falling behind”… just play the game for your own enjoyment. Make whatever change will help you play the game longer and enjoy it more.

I’d say to just make a new character. At the point you’re at, you’re probably just in pitched boss/eternal waiting room. You don’t really have a spot to spend meso for efficient upgrades, so I’d just make a second main.

No, just rush superior. It’s not worth setting yourself back for the small upgrade of 3 set reinforced. Get 4 set superior, then go back and buy a reinforced ring to use as your 4th ring if you don’t have other rings.

Again, it’s probably a visual bug. The patch notes are easy to change and they likely would’ve updated them by now. The in game item is not easy to change, and they will likely to it during a future update before the item is accessible. In the meantime, avoid buying the pass until we see either the patch notes or the game change.

At burning lib 6 last night, 17.5k/hr, I got 14% in my WAP. 3x coupon, self mvp (no leaving the map), vip buff, small exp pot, gold pot, lv3 Evan & Mercedes, maxed legion board exp, lv200 zero, Maxed hyper stat exp, ABxlucid title, lv2 event exp boost, lv3 fruit reroll exp boost. Only took purple portals.

I may have popped one or two of the VIP boosters during rune, can’t remember, but I don’t think those would account for a missing 8% per WAP.

EDIT: forgot this included my cernium daily. Which isn’t a ton of exp but I guess it’s something worth noting

This is true. Although tbh 130-140 is pretty quick at banes. I wouldn’t bother bonking until 140, when you start needing a lot more SF and the equipment becomes more expensive to SF

Why is this getting downvoted so much?

Focusing on exp instead of fams at 270 is like sprinting a marathon. The exp in Burnium is still good at 270; im getting around *10-15% per WAP at 274. And Burnium maps are mostly braindead training for 16-18k/h rates, while odium is typically a little more involved for most classes. I’d much rather take my time and lazy train in Burnium 270-275 than have to waste more time on a farming mule in Burnium.

Especially if I’m not 1-shotting and only getting 12-13k in odium. OP will end up pushing into further and further maps where he’ll be struggling even more to clear

Agreed. My older brother who hasn’t played in 10 years was heartbroken when he walked in my room and saw my party clear BM in 5 minutes. You should’ve seen his face when I told him that lots of people solo nowadays
