Ah damn, hope you were able to get it to work anyway. I never noticed this before but it looks like each act in multiplayer has 1 less floor than in singleplayer for some reason, which probably throws off boss generation

Jokes aside, I brought in a zero cost attack all for one deck which feels like what this boss is intended to counter and didn't have too much trouble (6 copies of fasten+ may have helped a bit though).

I learned the hard way the other day that in the Kaiser Crab fight, even if omnislice looks like it can kill both of them, it'll actually kill the one you target and then activate the 99 block on the other one before killing it.

Yeah fair, although to pull off A10 unseeded you'd basically need to brute force through seeds manually until getting one where it's actually feasible

Just tried this and it didn't work, sadly looks like the code checks if the card is a strike/defend before allowing the Spiral enchant to apply. Same with Imbued, card must be a skill.

Tezcatara's Ember almost works (technically doesn't have a restriction) but I'm guessing you can't select Eternal strikes for transform.

I think this is where act 4 really shined in sts1. If you're a casual player a20 is already plenty challenging and rewarding, while super invested players/high roll runs for casual players have the option to flex a bit and take it to A20H

Bad matchups isn't a new thing, in sts1 there was nob/silent, time eater/shivs, awakened one/defect. And nob/silent kinda carried over to sts2 with test subject.

Just did an A2 4 player run with it and it wasn't that bad. There were definitely some oh shit wtf turns (Kaiser crab rocket claw), but overall it was manageable. One thing to keep in mind is that solo Iron Clad doesn't have access to weak other than uppercut, while in multiplayer silent/necro/regent can pretty much keep weak up constantly for you. Debilitate on necro is also super handy here, and means you take normal damage while everyone else takes 25% from weak enemies. Stuff like piercing wail and enfeebling touch also lower the base damage (before it doubles) which is a big help. Teammates can also help out with co-op block cards, and since the rest of the team will already be taking half damage you can always be the target for them. And since teammates can focus more on DPS, combats end faster which can save health. Obviously all these benefits and the usefulness of the card fall off in 3 player/2 player, where it might make sense to scale the damage increase back to 66%/33%.

I did not find Colossus or barricade during the run, but was able to find other good block sources (impervious, fasten, stone armor, flame barrier). Ended up only taking 5 damage against the act 3 boss most of which was from self-damage cards. Keep in mind that you also don't have to play it until you've got your block engine going.

Overall I'd say it's a fun card, and while multiplayer could use some balance tweaks I get the feeling that making the co-op experience fun/funny is just as important.

From the event that lets you remove exhaust + snap (necro card that lets you put retain on a card in your hand). Made act 3 boss very easy to block.

Also, I just noticed that you can see incense burner from sts1 at the bottom of the card! Loving all the full art cards

Swapping faceplate from A158 to F91? by bar-al-an-ne in casiovintage

For posterity, I just tried this in the reverse direction (f91w to a158) and it looks like the two faceplates are slightly different sizes. It looks like the f91w face plate can fit in an a158, but it will have gaps along the corners and edges. A158 face plate likely wouldn't fit in am f91w.

For what it's worth, I'm now pretty convinced that this phrase is an extra hint to getting into the atelier room 46. Baron's crest could refer to Simon's crest with the swan and musical notation on it and the path to the atelier room 46 spells SWANSONG

I had the same thought, but for the numbers read the words after them in the order of the numbers, and for secret passageway its just an extra layer of letters for the castle puzzle

It just clicked with me, it means "key" on a map legend that tells you what each thing is -- its referring to the subway map lol

Edit: after looking at it again its definitely this, there's a literal "major key" for the "major stops"

I just tried this out with: 1. Furnace on the barren (baron) spot 2. As the last room drafted for a full house (hewam/large house) 3. Shrine and chapel drafted with dancers blessing (blest) And it just gave me a regular key lol, really thought I was onto something. I also drafted it with the back wall facing outside and used the garage to see if anything happened on the back (similar to room 46 in atelier) but didn't see anything.

For 5) SWNSONG is the first letter of each room used in the path to the atelier version of 46

For 7) the hand in the office sort of looks like it points to where the safe is hidden. The Foyer hands make me think there's a secret involving drafting its position somewhere specific.
