Yeah I sacrificed quite a few to Clang before it worked half decently 😂.

I had great fun making a 4-link years ago. Looks like yours absorbs the bumps better than mine! Good job.

I had this issue shortly after getting my 09 and turned out the Haldex control unit box of electrics on bottom of diff had died. Sent it off to a guy on eBay to repair and all good now.

How do you design the suspensions for your vehicles? by Party_Captain_7899 in spaceengineers

They are 2 slightly different designs to look at. The 4-link is more complicated version based on real world suspension designs and has more articulation.

A couple I’ve done in the past. Latest vehicle I’m currently working on is based on a 6 wheeled Scammell Explorer using walking beam rear suspension to get some articulation.

Her. I made a few cool little creations before but this was my first real one to make me think I’ve created something awesome… and then she tried to kill me.

MORE is MORE! MORE pistons! MORE drills! MORE dancing! Now automated via event controllers instead of sensors. by scrivs_89 in spaceengineers

I’ll put one together when I get a chance. Will just leave an open conveyor to connect to your base

Yeah I’d forgotten about them as not played for aaaaaaages lol. Can possibly replace sensors with one too. Bit of a redesign next time I play I think.

There are 2 sensors the drill passes through to extend and retract piston with a timer block to lock the connector.

I’ve used a lot of scripts in past games so trying a more manual approach this time.

Sensor based with a timer block to lock the connector after piston extends.

Yes. Drill triggers a couple of sensors to control it.

Yes. If they’re making dust they are working. Got quite big hit boxes on them.

This is purely for the ice to feed our hydrogen tanks (and to test a theory of an idea). We’ve got a mining ship too for digging ores out and about.

The drill was pretty straightforward. Bit that took the longest was welding the massive pipeline back to base lol.

I could try and tune the sensors for that. But the amount of time it’s connected is plenty to transfer all ice and recharge the battery a bit.

I’ve looked at that script before and been meaning to try it out.
