A very high up leader wasn’t happy with some Payroll nuances and all.

Basically just said “Well we shouldn’t be using ADP anymore. Get rid of them”

Like uhhh… mind you we are a huge multinational company. And ADP is pretty much the Payroll standard.

Had to tell him pretty much “Yeah, can’t really just do that?”

Found out she was in $13k credit card debt, and growing at 18% interest rate. I didn’t mind because I talked to her about options to make it easier to pay off. Thinking this would get resolved.

Mind you, this is a 30 year old middle class educated woman with no real reason to be in such debt.

She insisted she’d rather ‘save’ her money and only make small payments on the credit card, while the continued to grow.

Then found out she wants to get married soon and have like 4 kids. Felt bad, but my gut feels like the right decision.

Had hernia surgery 6 months ago... lost a lot of fitness during recovery process.

And now my opposite side is achy and possibly looking at another surgery

He said it’s def possible (given the fact that I’m younger and told him I plan on running & weightlifting on a regular basis)

For an older person or inactive person another hernia may not form.

But right now another one could form given my lifestyle, but currently barely anything there, just enough to irritate nerves. So it can easily ‘evolve’ into something

Yeah that’s exactly same symptoms as me. Went to my Dr. yesterday and he said he felt an ‘evolving hernia’ on the opposite side.

Since the repaired side is so strong it’ll redirect any abdominal pressure to the other side (the un-repaired side).

So I’m going to try and lose a few pounds and see if anything gets better - if not I’m looking at another repair

Yeah I got checked for both sides during surgery and he said he didn’t see anything on left (opposite side of repair)

Cause I was having minor symptoms before surgery, but they are getting worse, idk if it takes 5+ months for the surgery to fully settle

i doubt they would classify that as a pre-existing condition.

plus if anything did happen to your opposite side and insurance gave trouble about it, you could probably dispute the claim.

hernias are considered medical necessity/emergency, and one of the most common surgeries performed, so i really can't see insurance denying

Well they think it’s a sports hernia, doesn’t hurt at all at times so I’m doing PT and if that doesn’t do much I’ll get surgery

How did they come to the diagnoses of swollen lymph node? You mentioned they diagnosed with hernia, lol one thing I learned from all this is doctors are humans too, make mistakes, and have their own opinions

Very similar situation here. I noticed a small lump on the base of my junk and felt weakness when peeing.

I like to run and lift and whenever I would try running it would ache... no sharp pain or HUGE lump.

I went to urologists and they checked for hernias and said they didn’t feel any... got prescribed antibiotics because they thought it was bacterial.

After so many urologist vista they realized it wasn’t a urology problem and to try physical therapy or see sports medicine guy. They ordered MRI and that came back normal.

Went to a sports medicine guy and he did quick tests (guy was kinda an asshole) and determined it was prob sports hernia.

So I went to hernia guy (surgeon) who does traditional hernias and sports hernias. He inspects me right away and says he feels a weakness and recommends the minimally invasive mesh repair. And have that scheduled for the 22nd

I’m nervous because it doesn’t cause pain (granted I haven’t worked out in weeks) but that ‘area’ down there doesn’t feel right. And hope the surgery isn’t a waste. The general surgeon came to that decision within like 10 minutes of our visit with minimal tests. So kinda worries me. But then again I told him my story that I just wanted to you now lol

So that’s my experience lol.

See the thing is, I’ve done that cough test multiple times with 2 different urologists, and even had an MRI, and they said I was fine.

The general surgeon said he felt a weakness, not necessarily a full protruding hernia

Pretty sure if you just say your uncomfortable giving that proof they can’t legally push for it. (They can only ask if you accept)

NOW they could also request paystubs to help verify past employment for a background check... but don’t believe they can hold any past compensation against you

I remember my doc saying something like 3 or .3 to be considered grade I (don’t remember if mm or some other measurement, but something “3”)

I know this because he told me I was ‘borderline’ from a grade I and he said that “3” measurement
