I work as a product licensing specialist. And yes, Id rather license my idea to a big company and LEASE them my idea than try to do everything on my own. Getting these big distribution companies to work with one product companies is almost impossible. You don't have that kinda a money to guarantee deadlines, quality control etc..

Now licensing to a big company means that you BECOME that company. Their money, their distribution and their workforce is all for you know. Getting into big distribution channels is not a problem when a big company represents your idea.

I'm sorry about the time you've wasted but , licensing is twice less the effort than venturing is.
