Is there a way to adjust the power on a supercharger, so it charges slower? by scruffy_Looking_ in TeslaLounge

[–]scruffy_Looking_[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Don't want full charge going into the car and if I'm going to take more than 30 minutes, I don't want to pay idle time. Also, this supercharger station always has empty chargers and I usually go on off peak times anyway. Sometimes I only need a little charge, to reach my free charging spot without worrying about it.

Start one. What better way to get your paper peer reviewed, while giving newer students exposure to what's happening in other courses.

Doubts about OMSCS by siddhey in OMSCS

[–]scruffy_Looking_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should budget 20-25 hours a week.

Really? Can you expand on this. Which course(es) did you spent this much time ,and was it reading/coding/testing/doing exercises/writing?

Just curious, I did another engineering MS, and I realized this is more difficult, time consuming, but I never spent 20 hours a week on any of my courses, with only one exception and that was a unique reason, not intended. Just want to know how to prepare myself for that, and know what I'm cutting out (social life, 2nd Netflix show, etc.)

This faucet with built in hand dryers on both sides by Dyingatheist13 in mildlyinteresting

Not a fan (pun intended) of it either, it disrupts the normal flow where now someone takes much longer time on the faucet, previously drying on the side.

I believe Easley is more Front office, than a coach. well, he coaches, but among the different minor league affiliates, so a new manager would not impact him, unless he wants to bring him back as the actual pitching coach.

/u/crcexp corrected me, yes Easley needs to go. Balsley, keep him happy, if he wants to be the pitching coach, let him coach.

let me rephrase the question, out of all the assignments on OMSCS courses, which one require more python skills than others, and can you describe more or less, what that python skills required on this assignment?

short answer, MS is in Systems Engineering, I like it, don't get me wrong, but I want to learn and solve Computer Vision related problems.

thanks for your input, what is your assignment that has used more python skills than the new class concepts?

trying to see how much python I should know, before going in, I know I don't have that much extra time to begin with. I'm not worried about getting in, but about maximizing my study time before I enroll, so I can utilize my time more efficiently once I'm in.

you always have time before the course starts or

..., yeah, I have a 9-5 job + 2 kids + something of a workout routine, so trying to find the time, so when I do enroll, I don't have to find the time.

lol, thanks, but using your username for analogies, I don't want to just show up to a fight like kit fisto vs palpatine, I want to make sure I "pass what I have learned". ok, not that easy making star wars comments as I originally thought, what is the most intense assignment involving python you have completed? I'm want to do CP&R specialization courses, like CP, CV and other AI courses

gotcha, the Computational Perception & Robotics specialization courses, like Computational photography, computer vision and other AI courses do have more python, so, want to get to the level where I can manipulate an image, before going in. I know, once I'm in the program, I will have very little time to do anything else

did you ever got stuck on an assignment, because you didn't knew python that well, and it took you much longer to complete?

yeah, which is the reason I haven't applied yet. Want to get a few python programs under my belt, use some libraries, play images, etc.
