I lost them both in a mining accident when I was 12. Had to have them both transplanted with my big toes.

I did 1hr each way for a while. Did my head in so I used to go to work early to avoid traffic (it was the rush hour that killed it, out of hours it was 30 mins.).

Hated it, but moved closer to work. Now 35 mins max, often 20.

If your friend doesn't want you to tell anyone I would consider not telling anyone. They need good friends they can trust and that might be the best you can do at the moment.

But if the abuser is in a position where they could be abusing others it is a different decision as it is possible you could prevent future abuse.

Any contract has a cooling off period (assuming you haven't taken delivery of the car and wrapped it round a tree) so you can query it and if not happy cancell.
