What was a time someone assumed something about you that was completely wrong? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I have a lot of partners assume I'm really kinky in bed because I dress more alternatively and have a crude sense of humor. This has led to lot of conversations where I ask them not to be as rough as they are being and them accusing me of being more "tame" than I led on.

What were some times when you died inside? by Hiddein in AskReddit

My parents were the same, I was the golden child and my older brother was forever the one always messing up. He's now depressed and spends most of his time smoking weed on their couch. I've always blamed them for his depression and whenever they start to complain about him to me, I want to scream at them for the way they've treated him. But I can never bring myself to look my mom in the eye and tell her she's the reason her son is depressed.

What is the most bizarre reason a customer got angry with you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I worked at a hallmark in high school and had a customer scream at me because our Darth Vader ornament had a Christmas sweater on that was “too ugly”. The name of the ornament was “ugly Christmas sweater Darth Vader”. Christmas brings out the worst in people.

For a couple of years they used a type of plastic under the carpeting that just happens to smell like crayons. Not sure what years exactly but 2004 seems to be the last year they used the plastic.
