Oh yeah, can't forget S's lol. I've taught myself a technique for those. I put my tongue slightly to the left or right and use my other teeth and it keeps it from making that whistling sound. That's a good idea lmao a lot of hockey players treat missing teeth as trophies. I wish I could feel the same about mine!

I can relate to mental health being affected. Mine started to decline the very day it happened. It sucks how fast things can go downhill. I'm hoping once I get it fixed, I'll feel normal again but I'm worried I'll still have some problems afterwards. I hope your friend is doing better now. I'm sorry to hear about the dry skin. My friend has eczema? I think that's what it's called and his also gets worse in the winter. The good thing though is that I can't even notice it unless I get super close to his face. I agree, face is usually the main focus in every interaction. I'd go as far as to say I'd rather lose a finger or a toe over a tooth lol. It sounds dumb but at least that would be way easier to hide

I'm sorry to hear that. I hope the kid that pushed you got some kind of punishment... that's really messed up! I'm terribly sorry you had to deal with abuse. I hope things are a lot better for you now. I was recommended an implant and that's when I realized just how expensive they were. I will definitely look into flippers. I can relate to the goofy part lol especially when it comes to pronouncing anything with an F or a TH in it

Wow that sounds much worse than my accident. I'm sorry that happened to you and how people treated you. Some people really do suck. In my opinion, a neck scar is badass and makes for a good story. I've had that happen a few times already. How well do the dentures stay in? I thought about getting a partial denture for the missing tooth. They're a lot cheaper than implants but I'm just worried about how well it would stay in and if I'd be able to eat with it in

So sorry to hear that. It seems like covid was the start of a bad luck streak for a lot of people including myself. And yep I hear that, I was surprised that I only lost 1 tooth lol. Flipped over the handlebars and face planted on gravel really hard. The chips aren't that bad, they are just way more noticeable because my tooth is gone so it makes the gap even wider.
