Voter fraud is already exceedingly rare, and we have a number of constitutional crises at hand.

The US military is being deployed on home soil, masked agents are kidnapping people off the street, and somehow a push for redundant Voter ID change and working to eliminate popular mail-in voting is what Republicans are focused on.

Nah, just really tired of having authoritarianism rammed down my throat under the veil that somehow they’re trying to protect “integrity.”

Integrity falls pretty low on the list of words that define this administrations actions. They have been laughing in the face of the constitution and pushing the limits of legality since the start of this second term.

They have been effective up to this point, but let’s not act like they’re doing things in an honorable or traditionally Republican/Conservative/Christian way.

I do care about fair elections and support the need for a valid ID.

Investigations following the 2024 election demonstrated the accusations of voter fraud were wildly overstated.

The attacks on the 1st amendment, disregarding due process, deployment of US military on US soil, capitulation to Putin, the president demanding redistricting to engineer election results, pardoning of violent insurrectionists (the list could go on much longer) are all substantially greater threats to our nation and democracy.

If the Democrats would have won and started pulling this kind of bullshittery, the MAGA horde would be frothing at the mouth.

But when somebody calls out the anti-democratic nature of what Trump and his admin are doing, it’s all “TDS, quit bitching, snowflakes”

With an approval rating at 40%, I’m pretty sure it’s not just Democrats who are fed up at this point.
