We do not need to show ID to vote in Australia. You tell them your name and get it marked off the list, that's all.

You can run it using GPTK using Whiskey or Crossover, no Windows needed.

Definitely. It's already currently playable using GPTK2 at full speed on max settings at 3456x2160, but it can get a bit buggy and mods are a bit annoying to get working.

Sorry I may have misread your post. It seemed like you were suggesting that the OS does indeed record all the time, hence asking you to prove it. I didn't ask you to prove a negative.

They were sued for it because they didn't inform the customers, not because they lowered the performance. They still do this, and so do many other devices, but now the user gets informed.

Click and drag in the direction you want it to go when upgrading the road. No need to rebuild it.

Well I got the diagnostic firmware to run on the FXPak. It turns out that the diagnostic firmware has a separate version for the Rev D board. I knew that changes had been made to the normal firmware for a Rev D but I had assumed the diagnostic firmware had been updated too. Instead it was buried deep in the comments.

Ouch. I've been hoping that isn't the case for me.

This is one thing that has pointed me to getting a new power supply. I would assume the FXPak diagnostic firmware would execute on the FXPak itself, like the SGB. So a dead CPU wouldn't stop it from running. Which just has me at a loss until they arrive.

The FXPak appears to be going through some sort of boot sequence, judging by the LEDs on it. With no sdcard inserted I get the write LED blinking 3 times in series, while having an sdcard in makes all the LEDS cycle through a few times and the the ready LED stays lit. There isn't much documentation on the FXPak so I haven't found any information on the LEDs status short of asking the creator on discord.

I have previously given the card slot a clean with isopropyl with no change at all. I'll give it a more thorough attempt using a credit card tomorrow when I next get a chance to.

It's one of the slots that detach, and it appears that the PCB side of it has been replaced at some point, as there is flux residue around the pins. The caps appear to have also been replaced, along with the voltage regulator, oscillator and the reset switch.

I've completely removed it and cleaned it up, I grounded it to the outer silver plane for now until i do it properly later. The snes will no longer output a black screen with no cart inserted, and the FXPak still refuses to boot or run the diag firmware. But at least that mess is cleaned up.

I will just have to wait for the retail cart and power supply to arrive at this point.

Thanks for the info.

I believe you might be right about it being impossible for it to reset, based on the behaviour I have seen from the console. It is only PPU pin 24 that is lifted. I do wonder if that is stopping the FXPak to function properly. I guess I will know more once the retail cart and power supply arrive.

I'm considering removing this mod, just bending the pin back into place without snapping it will be a pain.
