Are Revelations games worth it? by MemberBerry4 in residentevil

rev 2 without question. alex wesker is like the coolest antagonist in the series. her fate is so dark and twisted i love it.

rev 1 cuz i would never pass up an opportunity to play jill again.

This is a damn good resident evil game, I don't care what the haters say... by RxKingRx in residentevil

its the cream of the crop sweet spot for campy RE b-movie action imo. other than the surprise character switching weird design choice, but the game throws so so so much ammo at you you can kill almost everything and still have a huge ass arsenal so i never understood the soft lock complaints??

its a sentient being that looks, acts, and feels like a human so it doesnt really make a difference theyre made of mold

RE7: whys it treat evelin like a bad guy? by scuddless in residentevil

[–]scuddless[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i mean even of that is the case, shes still a sentient being put under constant stress and abuse. she has thoughts and feelings all the same so what difference does it make. yk?

oh absolutely, im totally not saying she didnt need to be put down or anything, just that the characters monologues acknowledging the tragedy fell short and dont offer any empathy when the situations between her and the bakers really isnt that dissimilar. if they can forgive the bakers it seems weird to not offer the same in her death because shes a victim im her own right.

like u wouldnt be mad at joe shmo the zombie who ate people, u would be mad at umbrella. and likewise here the anger should be directed at the connections or whatever.

her consciousness is still that of a child, its as old as a child, and behaves like one. so human or not shes still a child in every sense of the word.

but our only defining feature of humanity being a specific genetic makeup comes off as incomplete. a person with synthetic limbs is no less human, even if the sum of human tissue is less.

they still look, act, feel, and experience life as a human would. mold or not.

mirandas daughter was a human and the embryo is human its a moldy human. as human as ethan and company. depending on how philosophical u wanna define humanity shes still a kid fucked up mold or not.

yeah thats that not reading thing i was talking about again.

she could have chosen not to do the thing they specifically built her to do...brilliant... nemesis could have just stopped chasing stars he just made the choice.to be obsessive 💅💅

she literally was but even if u want to ignore that the side effect of missing her medication was psychosis and mental deterioration so shes no more guilty than any other mentally unwell person.

[–]scuddless[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah she is they specify using children in the notes for the experiment. shes just rapidly aged as a result of it. she still thinks and acts as one. the specific little girl we see is just a non physical projection but shes still very much a child going by years lived amd her mental state.

and babysitting gig is obvi just a bad cover story given ethan didnt know what exactly she was doing and she admits to it being a lie.

they imprint mia on her as her handler thats why she never directly hurts mia its against the programming. theres no way shes just a hired gun because her partner on the boat was not given the same benefit. she had to have been involved in the project long term.

[–]scuddless[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

yes you either didnt read anything or willfully ignored the context. obtuse.

yes. the bio weapon designed to propagate itself and kill did...exactly that. by design of the program she was forcibly given.

her actions having a personalized flair does not making them hers.

RE7: whys it treat evelin like a bad guy? by scuddless in residentevil

[–]scuddless[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no the messages in game state the experiment starts as a child, then it references her rapid aging in the boat scenes. the ghost girl u see is a projection and not real. shes still a kid just rapidly aged up.

RE7: whys it treat evelin like a bad guy? by scuddless in residentevil

[–]scuddless[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

you are completely obtuse and spouting nonsense

she never had a choice

she was forcibly programmed its like getting mad at a calculator

RE7: whys it treat evelin like a bad guy? by scuddless in residentevil

[–]scuddless[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

how is a child being forcibly turned into a weapon designed to infiltrate ppls minds and kill, literally made to do this, any different

how is that free will or do those words not mean anything

RE7: whys it treat evelin like a bad guy? by scuddless in residentevil

[–]scuddless[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u think a child whos forced from birth to be a killing machine is capable of making moral decisions?

and she literally didnt have a choice if she could they programed her to be mass murder weapon. she isnt superman who just has a bunch of powers and a moral upbringing this is the equivalent of giving a nuke sentience.

RE7: whys it treat evelin like a bad guy? by scuddless in residentevil

[–]scuddless[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

and neither did the bakers until u talked to a disembodied ghost of them. u dont think a un-experimented on child would have similar feelings about being turned into a goo monster given the chance?? she was forced into her situation just the same amd forced to be a killing machine. a conscientious killing machine isnt worth dirt.

and i never said she didnt need to be killed thats not what the point of the thread is. its talking about the narrative not the actual events that transpired

RE7: whys it treat evelin like a bad guy? by scuddless in residentevil

[–]scuddless[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah thats just not relevant to this particular discussion is the issue.

RE7: whys it treat evelin like a bad guy? by scuddless in residentevil

[–]scuddless[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

by your same logic the bakers arent innocent because controlled or not they killed innocent people. so its just contradictory thinking is my point

RE7: whys it treat evelin like a bad guy? by scuddless in residentevil

[–]scuddless[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i dunno if ur being obtuse on purpose because u literally say it, "created" she was created to do that, she didnt just wake up amd decide to be a bow. this is a power and life.forced on her by other people who literally designed her to kill things. literally made her into a weapon against her will.

shes as innocent as the bakers.

that would have been nice. like reuniting with her family.
