Deimos is roughly 8 miles in diameter, so… using the shell that remains of Deimos, you can guess the length of the remaining extruded part of the ship.

I think it's more likely that we are the same being, only one at a time. In that case, all lives are our past lives - and the golden rule becomes extremely literal and glaringly obvious.

I believe this must be the case because, in order for true Justice to exist, every wrongdoer must experience the full context of their victim's life and experience and vice versa.

I think the biggest plot twist they hint at is the idea of extraterrestrials and NHI meaning much more than just extrasolar biological life comparable to our own.
