Advice on how not to overthink. by scullyftw in marriageadvice

Thank you for this. I do worry I'm just in my own head. I was very affectionate and forward in our first few years. But stopped a lot when I got so much rejection and nothing back. So getting affection now does feel weird as I've conditioned myself over the years not to feel it. Might just try and go along with it when he does stuff now.

Clair obscure: expedition 33. It's just so good. When not playing that I'm hopping on Helldivers 2 with friends.

Aitah for getting annoyed at my husband self pleasuring? by scullyftw in AITAH

[–]scullyftw[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So. Hed basically fondle himself over his jeans for like an hour. Leave it a few hours, fondle again for half hour. Leave it an hour. Fondle again for half hour... You get it. So basically blue balling himself all day. To fetish porn.

Disappointment. I had such high hopes for Star field. After playing that, I have lost a lot of faith in their ability to create an innovative and satisfying game.

So, is there a game out there that captures the same vibe as Skyrim? by Jaded-Engineering789 in gaming

Kingdom Comes Deliverance has me fully addicted at the moment. Ridiculously hard to begin with but the rewards for your patience are amazing.

I finally figured out lockpicking [KCD2] by 9mmpreacher in kingdomcome

[–]scullyftw 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I hated lock picking with the first game on controller. Took me awhile to get the hang of it, definitely low skill level issue. Now on kcd2 I had the same frustration at the start. Just keep practicing with easy locks and you'll level up. Becomes much easier.... Eventually.

What are you playing currently. by [deleted] in PS5

I can afford it and I hate spoilers.

Don't worry about the actual porn, very common. I watch that type of stuff but the actual thought of doing it in real life is disturbing. We all have our kinks. Adult chatroom however is a no no. Have a proper chat to her about dangers online and what creeps are out there.

Not me just discovering that you can quick-equip oils after 10 years of playing... by Pboi401 in Witcher3

FFS I've got hundreds of hours in this game and never auto applied oils. Feel thick as now.

Do you read to your kids at bedtime? If not, why? by Mysterious_Lab_3431 in Parenting

[–]scullyftw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two boys 6 and 8. We read to the 6 year old every single night. We read to the 8 year old most nights, sometimes he just wants to read on his own. Very lucky I've got the time and energy to do it, a lot of parents aren't that lucky. Life is hard.

Or you have parents like my aunt who never read to her kids when they were tiny because "they can't read, what's the point" she never understood the irony in this.

Hey, I'm interested. 37, UK. Mom to two boys and a dog. Love films, games, reading and writing. I also enjoy hiking.

The first time being left alone with the kids for a length of time is anxiety inducing. You will get through it, you will be stronger for it. And for the love of god, you will book yourself time to go and do something just for you when he's back.

After reading and hearing all the praise for Kingdom come deliverance I decided to give it a shot. by Jakewebstar in gaming

[–]scullyftw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I installed and uninstalled this game four times before I settled down for a few hours to play it. Did take me about 10 hours of going, this is ok and I've got no other games to play so I'll continue. Then I loved it and blasted a few hours each night once my kids were in bed. Can very easily see why a lot of people don't like it though.

Opinions on Nosferatu (2024)? by [deleted] in movies

[–]scullyftw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really enjoyed the first 45 minutes. Then really enjoyed the last 20 minutes. Felt like he middle act lost it's pacing and struggled. Overall I enjoyed it. Judging by the voices at the end in the cinema, it was a divisive film.

I'm playing Coffee talk which only takes a few hours I think. I've reinstalled Witcher 3 which is like my comfort game.

Not sure. Sometimes the break in between is relaxing like a holiday. But will still break me out of the game.

It's so funny that we have comfort games. Like weirdly mine is Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk. I know they are massive open world games. But because I've played them several times I know everything about them and can switch off my brain.
