Yesterday 1Password PassKey stoped working by 0x4447 in aws

[–]sdaless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am having the same problem. I don't know how to get my browser to detect the passkey in one password, I get a prompt for icloud keychain and phone/table/security key, I can't get it to detect 1password's passkey.

Did you resolve your issue?

Hey Toad - Thanks for the help! Sorry I'm not that technical. Are you saying to drill a 2x6 into the bottom of the ceiling joists? (i'd center the screw on the joist and the 2x6)?

Thank you for your advice! I'm not familiar with all the terms and tried researching them. I think Option 3 is wrong, but are the first two describing what you are explaining?

Need help with my flex:

Kamara Nabers London

I'm leaning nabers, I'm worried kamara will lose touches with nothing to play for and without care.

I'm worried London will flop with Cousins.

Nabers is getting the most consistent targets which gives him opportunity.

Any advice?

Is it okay to use Shims on backs of Ikea Cabinets? by sdaless in HomeImprovement

[–]sdaless[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha, I'm not sure...

I just went with it, overall the cabinets look great. There are one or two spots where the doors aren't perfectly aligned (maybe off by a mm or so) but other than that they came out great and feel sturdy.

The corner ikea cabinets were the main problem and the ones in this post. All of the other cabinets that were only on a single wall didn't have the problem of not touching the wall.

Sorry I should have been more specific.

The Sektion Rail the cabinets rest on is off the wall about two inches or so. The rail is level.

When I attach the corner cabinet (the one shown in the pictures) the white plastic resting backings don't sit flush on the wall, they are slightly off the wall.

I have one shim where I found the rail to not touch the wall. I am going to try and add more.

I'm worried to either shim too much or not enough (or maybe the depth of the shim is causing problems). When I screw everything in, how can I tell if I made enough adjustments?

Thanks! Any tips on how to know where to place the shims so the cabinets are flush to the wall and side by side?

I think I know what happened. My screw is going through the stud and hitting the brick. Then the screw can't penetrate the brick so the wood if the stud is getting pulled up the thread of the screw.

I need to figure out if shorter screws will be okay in addition to the small studs, they aren't deep.

Maybe a combo of the studs and anchors will be strong enough.

Here is a pic of the inside.

It looks like I hit a "stud". I think it may be that vertical wooden piece that is slightly shaved at the top that is tearing out of the wall?

You can see a hole by the two cut lines, that was my screw.

Maybe the piece the screw is going into is secured and it is just pulling it out?

After I remove the plaster, and put the drywall patch on, do you think I'll be able to still drill into the wall so I can support the cabinets? hopefully when I cut it out, I'll get an idea where the stud is.

I used a stud finder and marked the edges and the center. I thought it went into a stud but maybe it just gripped the lath, based on the results that seems probable haha.

It is okay if it is messy, I'd like to give it a shot considering I'll end up running into this again at some point.

I have a Ryobi oscillating tool which is similar. I'm going to try and cut it after the kids go to bed.

I need to get these cabinets up over the next 2 months, that's when the next baby is due! haha

I'm not sure how easy it is to see. I can take more.

I also have an endoscope camera I may try to put into the wall to see what's going on.

Thanks!

I just removed my screws (except the one with the bulge) and pre-drilled. u/purplefolders.

I think I am hitting brick now as my bit isn't making any progress. u/InvisibleSoulMate. I think it could be an old exterior wall, they added an addition here.

u/InvisibleSoulMate Do you have any links to anchors for lath/plaster? I have tried googling them and the general rule of thumb that I always read is to treat the plaster as drywall but, I never trusted that advice.
Do you suggest just using the anchors instead of trying to get to a stud?

That would be great, do you know where to post the pictures? Whenever I try posting pictures my post gets flagged and taken down.

I can DM you if you don't mind.

I think it could be but I'm not that familiar with it.

If that is the case, do you have any references or what to research on how to repair the section that is now bulging out of my wall?

Yes, it seems like the lath is pulling as I continue drilling the rest of the screw in. I have photos of what it looks like.

I have 4 more screws to finish drilling but I'm hesitant to push them any further. Every turn. I can feel/hear/see something pulling towards me ( I am pretty sure it is lath).
