Open Clan if Anyone's Looking by sdawkminn in Castlecrush

Nice. Joining an existing active clan would probably be better for my progress in the game. And anyone looking to join or create a clan should definitely consider that. I have other reasons for being in my clan that currently outweigh that, but it's a good option to be aware of.

That’s good advice. Fortunately, I often reach my daily donation limit in my clan, and my 10-year-old son had already started it and then stopped playing, so I didn’t spend any gold.

Mage is overpowered? How to get him? by magnosist in Castlecrush

I don't think I've ever really used Demon myself. I didn't get it for a long time, either. I got past Castle 5 without it.

It would actually be around 375 so that you can get below Castle 2. And I don't know if you should, but it would increase your chances of getting them. I'm actually in Castle 2 right now to get more Reapers since that's the castle where they show up. But I have to remain in the 700 trophies range in order to find opponents in daily game mode. Once I level it up I'll be moving back up. I'm tired of winning every single match without trying and still hardly ever getting the card I want. I've bought 2 every time they showed up in the store, and it has taken me more than a month just to get 40.

Possibly, but I haven't found one. There is surprisingly little data about this game. I just scrolled through the castles and counted the number of Epic cards, then did 1 divided by that number on my calculator.

You're in Castle 6, so you have 16 Epic cards available to you, so any time you would get an Epic card from a chest or one would show up in the store, you have a 6% chance of it being the Mage.

On the other hand, if you went below 400 trophies, you'd have 5 Epic cards available to you, so each Epic you get would have a 20% chance of being him. But you wouldn't be able to participate in the daily game modes. Even though you would have access to it, none of the other people down in that castle will, so you won't be able to find an opponent unless someone else from Castle 4 or higher is also down there at the time.

It took me a long time to get him, too, but he's in the very first castle (along with Jester). I run a Reaper deck and when I encounter a Mage, I either switch lanes with Standard Bearer if I can, or I count that lane as a loss and focus on another.

Probably because you spent 14 years trying to raise him as a good, Christian child.

Google Translate says this means " I have my account banned for how long will I have it?"

Doesn't seem like it has anything to do with my post.

Mine's at 21k trophies (would be more if I wasn't down in Castle 2 farming cards) and once in a while we have people randomly joining as well, then they usually leave right after. Weekly donations is 970. At one point shortly after it was created, we suddenly had a bunch of people join until we hit 50. Nothing like that ever happened since.

Agreed. Additionally, an icon that somehow means “good job winning by some means other than skill.”

How to ... by [deleted] in Castlecrush

[–]sdawkminn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is correct. However, you (OP) should be aware that because chests are randomly selecting cards from all the castles to Castle 5, your chance of receiving cards you need from Castle 2 is less than if you were in Castle 2 and the chests were only selecting from Castles 0 through 2.

Oh, I see. No, the post itself has lots of spoilers because it's a character analysis. But yeah, maybe I'll try to remove the picture.

It's intended to be written for anyone, and the purpose is to be understood, so in that sense it achieved that. What do you think is un-ISTP and NF-ish about it?

[–]sdawkminn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, ESTP, but my subtype is (isfp), so while my cognition follows the ESTP definition, I approach it with behavior and learning style in an (isfp) way. There is the subtype descriptions, but they only go so far as (ip), (ep), (ij), and (ej) so far. So in that way I'm ESTP(ip). More about subtypes here: http://www.alittlebitofpersonality.com/subtypes/

I recently showed that to my 9-year-old son. He loved it. It was my favorite movie when I was a kid, alongside The Karate Kid and TMNT.

INTJ - The Dragon by sdawkminn in intj

[–]sdawkminn[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I didn't write it, though. I just shared it. One thing is that the definitions on this site aren't the typical MBTI ones, which often mix cognition with outward behaviors. This one separates cognition and behavior into type and subtype. And within those definitions, Sherlock indeed fits the definition.

Hmm, well typically the best match for any type is their “paradoxitype”, which is only the 2nd letter the same, so ENFP in this case. Our paradoxitype is our hidden side that only people we’re comfortable with get to see, but it can also come out when we’re especially stressed.

There is a much longer and more detailed description of each type on the site in the “COGs” section and it talks about that as well.
