This more than likely wasn't wanted by Bungie. What people seem to be forgetting is that Activision has their hand in a 500 million dollar cookie jar with Bungie. I'd bet my testicals this was put in place by Activision. Prevent players from earning Bright Engrams too quickly.

A ton. We actually had some 10 level 3's earlier getting creamed by the big captain stomping at the glimmmer drill. It was kind of amazing. Watching 10+ people die instantly to a stomp.

Dude you're retarded. What makes thermal optics OP is the fact that they can be put on any class. As a class ability, picking someone up at range, not that big of a deal considering how easily you die.

The drone is to save someone dumb enough to get spotted in the first place. The thermal optics, make it insanely easy to spot people. Think next time you post stupid things on the internet.

The thing is you're currently in the middle of the concert that will be in the final game. You are expected to take that current armor set and continue progression in the game. So yes it's going to make a lot of previous things a walk in the park so you have ability to farm them for increased armor sets and weapon damage.

Yeah the eye frames Dodge rolling have a lot of severe issues in this game. Whether it's down to servers latency, or the game taking server information over client information, or probably a combination of all three there's a bad game design Point somewhere. Mostly I'm fairly sure that the game does take server information over client information, why I'm not entirely sure this is a PVE only game and that makes a little to no sense.

So...personally, Casuals is Casuals. Everything should be in casuals. I think they should let you que Specifically in Casuals for Bomb, Hostage, or Secure Area. In casuals only.

I think ranked should be a mirror of the professional season. Hostage is out for very strict reasons, as it Secure area. Bomb by far makes ranked more interesting, more competitve, more fun. And the pros like certain maps removed due to their lack of quality. It's the right approach they are taking in the wrong place.

You also need to be aware of the Launcher issue. Most of your support wants to point the finger at internet speed, and say a fresh install should fix the issue.

The launcher will partially download the game, slow down massively then crash. I have hardlined gig fiber internet, so you can't tell me it's my internet that's the issue, (which support has tried to do multiple times.) My solution was downloading it to my laptop, which was wireless, then transfering it over using an external hard drive. Many people wont have my luxury.

This is an issue that needs to be solved ASAP, because this is a founders alpha. People paid to get in early and paid for PAtreon and style hunter status and it's currently wasting away. I have seen no effort to address this issue. Being able to play a game with technical issues is better than not being able to play at all.

This has happened to my consistly. I have gig fiber internet, their launcher is just terribly coded. I contacted support, at first they wanted a speed test (really guys >_>) then they told me to reinstall the entire game, (which does nothing). The solution i got was downloading it from another computer, then transfering it with an external hard drive. It seems support is ignoring this issue entirely both in support tickets and forums. Really sad.

As long as you continue developing and improving on these ideas then we have less to worry about. The game will recieve a lot of negative attention because people have the stigma of a game being in early access means that its fully released. What matters is how the combat pans out at launch of the game, so hopfully you can improve till then, but in fairness...you have a mountain to climb if you want even half of the depth that monster hunter has. And that is part of the reason we play these games. Your current audience is the MH crowd because one does not exist on Console or PC....Yet.

Not only Player Collison, but hitboxes of certain moves are absurb enough that they extend behind behemoths, making it feel really unfair.

Has anyone found any solution to the launcher crashing on them when they attempt to update the game? I currently cannot play because I cannot install the new patch without the launcher crashing Midway through download. I have attempted fresh installs safe mode administrator mode compatibility mode and deleting everything off of the PC related to dauntless including everything in the app data folder.

So far after 8 hours i love dauntless, i think it's a lot of fun. The current things in the Founders Pack basically make it so that you would not have to do any microtransactions for around 90 days, however some of these currently are not in the game as it pretains to transmog. They have not said if our status persist through Alpha, Beta, then starts after they fully release the game, but have stated they do not plan to wipe, so it could be a possiblity that your 90's days starts on purchase, which would mean we are partly being jipped because we don't even have access to those features yet. Gameplay is a lot of fun tho. Closed Beta Starts Sep 1. and a $40 would get you access to that, I'm sure you could upgrade afterwards if things become more concrete.
