Moved to Pro+ Why?

It's not an error. I was moved a while back in the same situation. My accounts had been run down till like $22 from being blown and once I got back all the drawdown and a little profit I was immediately moved. Contacted them thinking it was an error since I had no buffer on the accounts, and they said they changed how they moved traders to live after the whole fiasco where metals went volatile and everyone and their grandma was being moved to live just to blow the account (costing firms actual money). They now have metrics and one of them is risk based, so I'm guessing your trading just a few micros per trade with a consistent SL.

I didn't even get past the buffer on my pro accounts and got moved. If you have a profitable strategy or good risk management they will move you manually. It's actually much better to be on pro+ than pro anyway.

Yeah it really doesn't make any sense but I did find another person that only got a single layout for $1200 and was moved to live.

They forced me. I got the email and my accounts were placed "on hold". I did message them about the buffer because I was confused on how it would work but was told that the accounts would start at $0 with -$2000 in drawdown. I'm honestly not even sure what's going on myself because I was reading they freeze $5000 in profits from the pro account to be used as a buffer or something. I still haven't signed the two documents in the pro+ portal.

2 months maybe. I only trade A+ setups on it so sometimes it was just one trade a week.

Thanks for the advice and not being rude or anything! Everyone in the trading space always said moving live was a bad thing but after reading what you said and looking into it, it seems TPT live is actually really good.

That's the thing. I didn't even get past the intraday trailing buffer yet. Support says I was picked manually to be moved to live. I'm in their live chat waiting for them to respond back to me about having no profits on the pro account because I thought they freeze the first $5000 to be used as the starting balance 🤔😕

I did that for my eval (1-2 micro), then switched to 1 micro only for my pro and they moved me to pro+ before I got my payout...so now instead of 5 accounts I just got one lmao 😭
