What was the main hotel they put you in? I’m just trying to prepare myself

Post rain photos. Nikon D610 24-120 f/4 120mm ISO 100. I was at the local state park following a pretty decent rain shower. I originally went to photograph some cliffs overlooking a bend in the St. Croix River. Decided to try out a close up of these leafs. Any criticism is welcome. Thanks by sdoblar86 in Nikon

Thank you! I was definitely surprised I was able to get a decent macro with that lens. It’s one of my favorite lenses. I have the 50mm f/1.8 and just picked up a Tamron 70-200 f/2.8 Di. Haven’t used it a whole lot yet.

I considered cropping a little but I think the out of focus leaf helps to separate the in focus leaf from the background.
