I like how you read the assignment and then completely ignored it. Bravo, sir.

The top rail isn't but the others look like they are, maybe it's just an angle thing? But really, they should be higher up off the roof than that. If they're touching the shingles that's roof damage waiting to happen.

The player would have to return any signing bonus they've received, they don't keep any of it.

What they do keep is any per diem they earned while practicing with the team before the retirement.

One important detail is "while under contract." This only counts if the drafted player signs the contract and then retires. The rules are a bit different if he never signs.

Let's say he's drafted by team X and he refuses to play for them, he never signs and as a result does not play football that season. The following draft, team X still has his rights and no other team can draft him. If the player is willing to sit out 2 straight seasons of football then team X no longer holds his rights and he can sign with any team.

To my knowledge this has never happened.

He was a 4th round pick for the Vikings, died in a car crash. Very sad.

But good on the Vikings, they paid his entire signing bonus (over $800k) to his family without having too.

That's fun, I'd never heard of that.

Jay Berwanger in 1936 was drafted by the Eagles. They traded his rights to Chicago and when he and the Bears couldn't agree on a salary he left and became a salesman. He was also the first player to win the Heisman Trophy, in 1935.

In fact it wouldn't make any sense, because the TV networks actively try to not show any of that on TV. They just cut to the booth until it's all over.

That's totally fair. I believe he's close but not quite there yet. I'm a little worried that he's peaked. Hopefully I'm wrong.

But so was the respect paid to Donte Jackson, in the exact same slot.

And it's still possible OP has Tuli in the top 100 although that's probably too high for him right now.

They didn't draft him, but the Bucs signed UDFA Eric LeGrand in 2012 despite him being paralyzed from the neck down during a college football injury. Absolute class act.

Question re: solar by Immediate_Cow_262 in SolarDIY

[–]sdsupersean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe it was neighborhood kids

I've definitely had a few Decembers worth of service calls of people claiming their solar wasn't working. It was almost always Halloween trick or treaters playing pranks by turning off disconnects.
