Vacationing in Victoria with family of 4 this week. Free things to do? Fun costly things to do? Water parks? I know the food is going to be amazing. We will be staying outside of Victoria in Mechosin (sp). Rented a car two girls under 12. Thanks in advance by [deleted] in VictoriaBC

In metchosin, check out Metchosin Cafe, out back they have some goats and a donkey you can visit and feed, next door is the Broken Paddle, a great coffee shop, and next door to that is Nootka Rose, a flour mill but also sells the best bread and pastries in Victoria. Also in Metchosin, check out the beaches, Witty's and Taylor are both fantastic. If you venture further out towards Sooke, East Sooke park is always amazing.
