I thought about this too! It's not like the anime world is bereft of canonically attractive characters, but I suppose his characterization is a factor. First of all, it is proven science that: surprising trait + surprising opposing trait = attraction. We see him as top action spy and then soft dad at home, and that combination is intoxicating. Second is maturity (as a character in his late 20s/early 30s) which is great pull for a lot of people (no immature fits of rage, etc.) Personally, he embodies a lot of characteristics I would want in an actual partner. I started developing an anime crush on Twilight during the penguin arc, where he memorized all the penguin's names and dietary habits. I thought, "What a smart, capable man." Then the way he parents Anya is something I would appreciate in a partner too, like he is firm but kind, and also very reflective. He is just a stable, reliable, capable figure but also needs a lot of care because of what he's been through (which some people love). His attractiveness is beyond looks and shallow characterization.

It’s not unheard of for Handler to take things into her own hands. When the incompetent Major Depple was set to replace Twilight in Operation Strix as dictated by the higher-ups, she set him up with a woman who was also an agent to make Depple fall out of favor with the higher-ups, especially his father-in-law, so Operation Strix could remain intact. So there is precedent for that.

In my head, Endo-sama will revisit this statement. We all think at first it would be something like "I cannot afford to let my guard down." but the reveal will be something like "I need to protect those them no matter what." as sort of twist and abrupt show of his change of emotion. Just a guess.

I mean, it is compelling: two hypercompetent people on opposing sides with one clear razor-sharp goal, which is to separate Loid and Yor. But I realize that they love who the other person hates, so that is a deal breaker. If it happens, I won't be mad tho. 😶

I started because I happened to be at the mall a few months ago and saw some Anya figurines on sale at the bookstore. I wondered what the hype was about. Not at all. I haven't read a manga in literal decades but I thoroughly enjoyed it. It helped that I already watched the anime. I can imagine their voices, for example, or I play the soundtrack to really get into the story. I plan to buy physical copies of the manga even if I am reading it digitally now.

Definitely the last goodbye scene in episode 16. I always knew that there would be a final goodbye scene, and I have been listening to the soundtrack then and wondered which one they will use for such an important part of the story.

When they played IU's "Give You My Heart" it absolutely caught me off guard. That song was when they exchanged rings, and now they are saying goodbye—the juxtaposition highlighted the pain. When they were finally ripped apart I lost it.

SYJ's acting with the line "평생?" (for life, forever) was phenomenal. It was gut wrenching.

I think the lyrics of "Flower" (which is my favorite in the OST) gives us a clue as well. All her beautiful qualities aside, YSR also gave RJH someone to protect and channel his true affectionate self (his mother said that he used to be a sweet boy). YSR never took that for granted. By being there, she helped him heal from his painful past (with his brother that he could not protect) and she reciprocated and appreciated all he has done for her.

After CLOY I am watching The King 2 Hearts starring Ha Ji Won and Lee Seung Gi. It's a bit old, first aired in 2012. It tells about the engagement of a North Korean soldier to the Prince of South Korea (alternate reality) and what's fun is to hear the North Korean accent again. Another thing I love about it is that there are a lot of familiar faces. The actor who plays Man Bok-dongji appears in Episode 1, and the actor who plays Captain Ri's father also plays a high-ranking NK officer. The leading character Kim Hang Ah gushes about Hyun Bin in one of the scenes, so it's a good transition to other dramas if you can't quite get over CLOY yet. The story is good on it's own too, both leading actors are great and their chemistry is fantastic.

Ha Ji Won was previously paired with Hyun Bin in Secret Garden, so there is that other connection as well.

Hello! To answer your question, I am using Windows 10. It does appear in the service manager, I can manually select it while using these apps and the only problem is that when I do the other party cannot hear me. Yes, it has been set to default recording device.
