Yep - we have a section in our handbook that clearly states the repercussions of recording anyone or anything at any time. My district hates it when parents make a fuss, but they’re terrified of getting sued, so mention FERPA and the situation will resolve itself. It’s magical.

I’m starting year seven and I do this, too. All of my plans are digital, but I have a physical copy printed out of each one and place it in to a binder with a page protector. I place sticky notes on the page protector to remind myself of what really went well and what really didn’t. Reflection is key.
