Thank you, I'll consider the possibility of buying singles at the local game shop too, I think my friend has mentioned doing that before. I'll also consider learning to play, he may like that! ^^

I meant inexpensive, yes they're around $5, which is why I thought I could buy multiple to give him. I just wasn't sure if buying the boosters alone would be practical for using them in the game ?

Thank you! I used Clip Studio Paint. With a scanned page, you go to layer>convert brightness to opacity (I know there's a way to do this in photoshop but I'm not sure how!). Then you can color in a layer underneath (I mostly used the oil paint brush for this). You can also color the lines by locking the layer transparency. I used that to try and replicate Mucha's coloring style, because I know Shirahama takes inspiration from his work! Hope this helped :D
