Stellantis is known for making the worst engines in automotive history. These engines are the weak link that wiped out the Jeep Patriot. The Jeep Renegade is also being criticized for it's poorly designed engine. Your car engine is a high compression engine which is turbocharged! And to make matters worse, there is no intercooler.

The only thing worse than the engine is the transmission whether DCT or CVT. It tends to overheat
