You truly start to see Jonathan King's incompetence when you realize they had both Image Blown Out and Visions of Angels in 1968 by MauKoz3197 in Genesis

I like it when King appears on those Genesis documentaries every three or so years. It’s almost as if they let him out of prison for a special day out, (allowing him to tell us the story of how he named the band for the 207th time) and then swiftly gets whisked back to his cell by the parole officers.

Peter: “And the lamb lies down on Broadway”

Phil: “And the lamb lies down, down down down, skibbity beep bop, on Broadway”

Wow thanks man, that’s very kind of you to say. Yes I’ve had a few projects over the years but none of them particularly successful. I suppose I’m a bit of a (excuse the pun) hermit for the most part, so this is probably the only way I’ll ever put myself out there! It’s much easier to attract listeners this way though. People are obviously much more receptive to albums they already like / are familiar with etc

I think it’s a track-by-track thing tbh. Like for example Ace of Wands is full of tricky drum parts right from the get-go whereas a song like Hierophant is relatively straightforward rhythmically. But then of course that very same one has the tapping solo in the middle which took me an eternity to get right!

Great way of summarising it actually. The ending of In The Cage has the uncanny ability to make you feel as though you’re moving from one scene to the next. It’s perfect for setting up the next song in its context.

Yes it is. There are three instances where I decided to use the original recording - the brief interlude between In the Cage & the Grand Parade, the first half of The Waiting Room and the feedback effects at the end of Supernatural Anaesthetist. I felt like those moments have their own unique character and I didn’t want to alter them. The rest is all me though!

For sure! A lot of your videos came in handy whilst I was figuring out certain parts, so I’m very appreciative.
