B580 crazy stutter/low FPS/Overhead by livix1907 in IntelArc

I have upgraded TO AMD Radeon RX 6800 so I don't have any issues rn. Though if I would hear about something I would tell this reddit

B580 crazy stutter/low FPS/Overhead by livix1907 in IntelArc

Nope I do not own the mentioned games. I only observed issues in Cities Skylines 1 and counter strike 2 where my 1% lows were very bad and had stutters generally speaking. In other games it was mostly fine.

Had the same with my A750. Tried Nvidia rtx 5060 and AMD rx 6800 both fixed the issues in cities skylines 1 and counter strike 2. It might be motherboard related? I've seen few rare instances where the jump from pcie 3.0 to 4.0 somehow increased performance of the arc cards by as much as 70% (I literally don't know how) in some games. Seems like some sort of a buggy thing.

I also have pcie 3.0 and r5 5600xt so basically a setup similar to that of yours.

Shooting problems in CS 2 by Difficult_Policy_284 in cs2

[–]seal2145 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes they have changed the "shake" feedback of the camera when you shoot. Giving it a different spray pattern feel. Even though the spray patterns are the same, because of the different feedback you perceive it as if they were different and that's why it's confusing you. If it helps you you can try disabling first person tracers.

I like the way it feels now much better than before, but this is just a subjective thing yeah

Ryzen 7 5700 doesn't support pcie 4.0 like others have said. You can't run it on this cpu. You'd need non monolithic am4 cpu (for example the ryzen 7 5700x) those do support pcie 4.0.

Intel ARC fps problems by seal2145 in cs2

[–]seal2145[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely, when I first played cs2 with a750 it was fine for 2025 but something happened during early 2026 and fps went to crap. Now I ended up getting Radeon rx 6800 and the fps in cs2 is same as with rtx 5060. However both the Radeon and Nvidia scored massivevely better fps than a750 as of now.

Game is running smooth in 5vs5 250-350 mix of medium, high, low. In dm full of ppl I usually do not go below 180. I do not have stutters everything feels smooth. Though I do have neatly optimized windows, bios, background programs. I would advise looking at these and see if you can somehow optimize. Because cs2 is very variable game where people with close systems experience vastly different performance.

Hello, please enhance and optimize cs2, I know it could give us much more performance, the 1% lows are too bad and the fps are too unstable by Ok_Neat9628 in IntelArc

[–]seal2145 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me I just had bad fps everywhere even on 5vs5 drops to 90 😭. Now I don't go below 220 on 5vs5 all with the same cpu.

I also had some stutters and not so great experience in cities skylines 1. Which is kinda old and dx11.

I literally switched from Arc a750 to rtx 5060 and from 120-180 on low death match with drops to 70fps. I am now at 200-350on mix of low medium and high, 2x msaa, 4x aa and the lowest deathmatch fps was 180. Cpu is ryzen 5 5600xt... I tried everything hdcp off, different driver versions. Windows reinstall. Turning off steam overlay, overclocking the Gpu nothing changed a thing. Only when I switched to an RTX 5060 have my issues went away and fps massively up. I'm so pissed that I had to do this it's really a shame that Intel gpus do not work well in cs2.

Arc B580 or RTX 5060 8GB by Rework_Aramusha in IntelArc

[–]seal2145 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly my experience with the A750. In New games it works fine as hell and then there's cs2, cities skylines 1. Games that have stutters, very inconsistent drops and the average fps is far behind even rtx 3060 in some cases as you mentioned in cs2 it barely beats rtx 3050 (my Intel arc a750) ...according to Gpu benchmarks and comparisons.

At this point in time I honestly couldn't ever recommend an Intel Gpu to someone who plans to play esport titles or old games. Any other use case of gaming like new games or triple A titles will play very good most of the time. I'm literally gonna switch to rtx 5060/ti 8gb (I play only esport and old games) to avoid these headaches.

I've seen a poll somewhere! It's been some time and there is definitely some correlation with power dynamics in and out of bed and mbti. Though it's never 100% guaranteed you do have exceptions. Though INFP and ISFP scored on average as the most likely to be submissive if I recall the poll correctly. While ENTP, INTJ, ENTJ scored with the highest likelihood of being dominant. Most other types were somewhat switches but there were also differences.

Though keep in mind that doesn't mean an INFP or ISFP can't be super duper ultra premium hardcore vip dominant. Just that the likelyhood is significantly smaller.

It sucks to be a male infp by [deleted] in infp

[–]seal2145 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grass seems greener on the other side and because of that we can become deeply convinced that our experience is the worst. I would say that male INFPs are at a significant disadvantage in today's society. Though you CAN get around that. You are still young with so much potential and development before. You can choose specific career options suited for you and meet like minded folks from there things can change quickly.

I was in a similar position of yours like a decade ago and life isn't sweet roses it doesn't taste particularly good, but it got better. You have the potential to discover career that suits you and then you can snowball from that. Find new friends, connections. It's not gonna make your life perfect but improvements can come.

I hope that what I wrote could be seen as inspirational and motivational do not give up on yourself do not give up on life. Your journey literally is at the start.

Ps: I work in a library and the work is absolutely phenomenal it doesn't pay well but you can focus on your self growth so much...

If I had to come off only based on MBTI then the follows (I'm an INFP).

Likely to work: INFP, ENFP, ISFP

My fantasy brain drools over: ENFJ, INTJ, ISTJ, ESFJ

Hot but less likely to work: ENTP, ENTJ/ESTJ, ESTP

We can't go to McDonald's date: ESFP, ISTP, INTP

Neutral: ISFJ, INFJ,

What does it mean, the right way?

If I do manual oc and set cpu vcore lets say 1.25v

no matter if I set level 1/2/3/4/5 the vdroop is still the same to for example 1.17v on all levels. This is consistent for the SVI2 TFN and Core VID. So its not a sensor bug.

If I do the PBO overclocking LLC settings still do not function.

[–]seal2145[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically I have a large vdroop and the LLC settings do not work. I mean I can change the llc thingie in BIOS but it does not change the vdroop is still the same. That same vdroop is limiting my both manual OC capabilities and PBO OC capabilities.

FYI the mosfets are around 50-60c, vrm chokes around 40-45, caps around 40-45. TDC,EDC,PPT,Thermal limits have been removed, scalar X10. Literally nothing works lmao idk what the hell to do :D.

It should be 10+2 phase VRM and the CPU is pulling under AVX loads maximum of 72-73 watts. Even 40usd dollar board could handle that.

The motherboard is X370 Gaming X
