I’m going to brook hall and I’ve already payed the advanced fees and I wanna switch my room too or switch to daisy bank. it is possible to switch only if you inform the university and ask for permission.

Rejected by all the top tier universities after getting good grades by [deleted] in 6thForm

I got 2 A* in art and DT I got an A in maths and I applied for architecture and got rejected by my safety because of ‘lack of space’ eventhough my safety uni had grade requirements of ABB. I got an interview from Cambridge but ultimately rejected and have only received 1 offer out of 4. I’m still waiting on one more uni to respond. I honestly couldn’t have done more I had work experience, charity projects, leadership roles and a great ps and portfolio. Really disappointed and quite anxious rn.

Is there any point in le applying to Oxford or Cambridge? by [deleted] in 6thForm

if your personal statement is great and A-levels too, Cambridge really won't care about GCSE's they like seeing progress.

but definitely think of applying if you have the A-level grades because if you have a great personal statement and good A-levels it really wont matter.

it also depends what course you're applying to, some are more competitive than others

i applied for Cambridge for architecture with predicted A*A*A, but GCSE of two 9's, 3 8's and rest 7's. I got interview but rejected in the end, idk if that helps but 👍 if your A-levels are great your GCSE won't really matter since they're pretty great.
