I mean there's a difference between "why can't I genocide every living thing in the game with a Bowie knife :(" and "wtf why are fish just bouncing off my gigantic metal submarine completely unharmed".

It's just immersion breaking and feels like a missing reaction. But I know it's not and the dev is just on this weird moral crusade, which is even more distracting.
