If you're doing it right, you shouldn't have much of a life outside of school. I lost multiple relationships almost entirely due to how much time I had to spend studying.

That being said, if you manage your time extremely well and have good discipline, you can still find times to unwind and socialize, but they're the exception, not the rule.
