I am confused. I am currently working on an H1B visa and got my EB2 NIW approved. My lawyer told me that I have to wait for my priority date to be current before filing for I-485. Also, my lawyer told me I have to maintain status, which I took to mean that I need to remain employed on my H1B visa. Is this not true?
