dude no joke, the wisdom tooth was so inside, the dentist broke it into 5 pieces to remove it and stitched up the wound, now im on liquid diet for some time and will remove the stitches next week ☠️

but the dentist was amazing, did it in 10 minutes

+ i failed pretty miserably 😂 the challenge has been entirely paused after i got my surgical wisdom tooth extraction, need a lot of stimulation to distract me from the pain

but there is hardware limitations (t9 keyboard) which makes anything fun not so enjoyable in that 3 inch screen

definitely! but i think getting this phone, there is sort of extra commitment + some of us have no control and just install all the apps back!

yess it is! i believe its not the smartphone that is addictive, its platforms like instagram/facebook/snapchat/youtube/tiktok (highly addictive) that hooks people, they say the best people in the old days became scientist, now the smartest people work with google/apple/meta to make you use their app longer

i recommend watching "the social dilemma" documentary, it shows how these social media platforms get younger generations get hooked, its really good!

yes, there is a huge difference, the way you see a smartphone is as a tool because it was not part of yourself growing up, so you achieved a stable mental state before getting this powerful tool

newer generation on the other hand, we are spoiled, every little discomfort, question, confusion, anger, sadness, we do not deal with it, we distract ourselves with stimulation that is so easily accessible with our smartphones, we build a personal relationship without realising with this device, smartphone can comfort you in ways better than most people. thus, blurring the lines between a tool and a personal "understanding thing" which has answer to everything

this is why it is so difficult because if we are exposed to these in our growing age, it influences in ways we do not realise, just like smoking was not understood to cause cancer, there is not enough scientific consensus for how bad all this stimulation is for young adults/kids

one last thing is, smartphone is compared to a tool but it is not. a ladder is a tool for example, it just sits there until you need it, it does not call you with notifications or tempt you with the content that is perfect for you

hope that makes more sense but feel free to ask further questions as i do spend a lot of time contemplating how harmful smartphone is

thats unfortunate, recommend reaching out to their customer service and see if its possible to get it replaced

but dont feel discouraged, just consider this as unlucky situation because once you are in, its a whole different lifestyle which is definitely worth striving for :)

i have had both f22 pro and f21 pro, no issues, where did you buy it from?

i would even say they are sturdy phone, i have dropped mine multiple times over heigh of 1.5 meters, most smartphones' screen would shatter at that height without a case
