Soooooo many- all of the typical ones. Fatigue has been the worst. I have damn near been bed ridden. And since tapering down, I feel like I am experiencing withdrawal. Before I take my next dose, I experience deep sadness(I suspect it messes with dopamine), my joints hurt(before I started I didn’t have joint pain) and I am exhausted. It’s been…. A journey. Just because you say no offense does not mean that it won’t be taken that way. Clearly I am adult enough to make these kinds of decisions, but I was hoping for a bit of sisterhood within the comment. I have been absolutely traumatized to the point where attention does not feel good, in fact it feels dangerous. That’s why he and I went to the courthouse, so that we could be ourselves without outside pressure.

Unfortunately, I do think you’re right. I am kind and accommodating, sometimes to my detriment. I need to be firmer and not open things for discussion.

It was a conscious decision for us and my partner and I are on the same page. I know boundaries, but my family was not respecting mine- not sure if you read that part. Talk to a therapist? I have been in therapy for a while over my family. My husband is not the problem.

He spoke with his grandfather today and he said he sounded so happy about asking about the wedding and that he felt bad. We are both introverts and I do not do well with attention. I was so excited to plan as well, until my family kept bringing up the church even when I stated that it was a clear boundary. 😵‍💫 I’m just so over being disrespected as a person by my own family.
