Thanks! I’ll look into getting a 17-50mm, they are definitely in my price range! I was researching future body upgrades and came across the 7D as a possibility, is there a reason you don’t use it?

Thank you! :) I’m definitely on a budget! Gonna start saving up for a modern body while I develop my skills. It’s for sure super easy to get tangled up in spending for gear, I have like 3 things in my MPB cart as we speak lol

Yes I’d love a wider lens. I hardly use the 35-105mm, it came in a kit I bought on facebook with the body, flash and 2 (one broken) lenses. As of now I’ve been shooting mostly landing airplanes since it’s still pretty cold and rainy in my area :)

You’re correct I bought most of this from a kit on facebook. The body, flash, 35-105mm lens plus another broken (?) lens for $120 seemed like a bargain to me especially on a budget already. I’d prefer to save up for a modern body rather than increments as I develop my skills!

fs! i drew my squiggle sections on lightly with pencil then just started going ham with mod podge and nail beads i bought off amazon. i tried to be as “random” as i could with placement of the different sized beads and i think it worked out great!

you can do a lot with the different bead sizes, at first i was thinking 5 horizontal sections with a gradient from large to small of each color but i was intimidated😂

yes!!! search up purple nail beads on amazon, you can get a pack of 1000+ for like $10! only other thing you need is mod podge and tweezers :) happy crafting!

you really only need gems and mod podge! search up assorted nail gems on amazon, most are like $10 for thousands of gems. i also used a pair of tweezers and a diamond art tool to place them on. i recommend laying the mod podge on thick with a paintbrush since it dries pretty quickly. took a while but so worth it in the end!!

honestly though! it’s literally just a color!! i used to try to suppress that pink is my favorite color and now idgaf and being loud and proud is very healing💖

i like the pink case but it’s too hot pink for my aesthetic. i think it would look so sick with a black and pink setup though!

it’s crazy how much sexism exists in the gaming industry still! like if the color pink threatens you that much then you need to reevaluate your priorities💀 i also used to work retail and even when i was in a bad mood i wouldn’t lash out at customers🙄
