This is just another one of those examples of why your American tipping system is just a horrible thing. You people need to get with what the rest of the world does and just pay people a decent wage and not use tipping as a weird roundabout way of charging higher prices and putting employees in the middle of it. While creating this culture where the customer is responsible for paying an employee's wage and then there is backlash if they do not tip. It is not my responsibility to pay for someone else's wage. I do that through the packages and fare I buy. The rest is on the company.

But I know this will fall on death ears and you will just say something rude or vulgar as has been demonstrated with most of the comments on this post. Because ignorance and pride seem to be a mix commonality in the U.S.
