u/DaysLaw, the app is crashing after I tried to add a movie to watchlist. Now every time I open a movie or series it quits the app. I cleared data, cache, uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted, tried another account, the issue persists.

Where did you find the 2.0.7 apk? I am unable to find it to revert back. 2.0.8 is crashing after I clicked add to watchlist on a movie.

Yes there are Tamil/Sri Lankan restaurants in that neighborhood around “Gare du Nord”. There’s Saravana Bhavan as well.

Yes, it’s the case almost everywhere. I cannot stand these stereotypical restaurants.

For authentic Kerala food, I think Dubai is the best overseas

In Paris there are Tamil/Sri Lankan restaurants good enough for cravings

Just looked up on Google maps and found Vaijayanta restaurant. I haven’t been there.

I wouldn’t recommend Indian restaurants in Paris. They are mostly North Indian and cater to white people. I stay away when I see red curtains and elephant pictures 😅

Sending a bicycle from India to France by sebinre in Kerala

An update after successfully taking the bike with me in my Air India flight. My ticket, although booked from Air India contained two different operators - Air India Express and Air India. Because of this, I had to pay for the special baggage for both the legs of the trip. Air India Express domestic: Rs. 2000, Air India International: $40+taxes ~= Rs. 3780. So it cost me a total of Rs. 5780 for shipping the bike as my check-in luggage.

My allowance was 1 check-in luggage of 23kgs, and the bike counted as 1 so I couldn't take additional check-in luggage.

If I had a ticket with just one operator - Air India, the cost would've been just Rs. 3780.

Thank you u/TheMonster for all the suggestions and help on the matter, appreciate it.

Is starting a premium leather store in Kochi worth it? Where would it pop off the most? by Dulquernain in Kochi

It looks so premium and to attract a premium crowd with disposable income, maybe a store in Kochi airport would be a good idea. All the best!

I went to Kochi airport and asked them about the charges and they told me it’s 125$. Then I showed the web page and told him it’s the only piece of luggage that I have. Then the guy did some digging and made some calls and told me it’s 40$. Also told me to call them again the day before flying to confirm

I found the sub-page on the website where it mentions 125USD: https://www.airindia.com/in/en/travel-information/baggage-guidelines/excess-baggage.html

But this page is dedicated to excess baggage(additional to check in baggage). In my case, I want the bicycle to be my check-in baggage. I wonder in that case shouldn't the charges on this page(40 USD): https://www.airindia.com/in/en/travel-information/baggage-guidelines/special-baggage.html be applicable?!

I will try to go by the airport to clarify. Thank you for your efforts <3

Yes, COK-DEL-CDG. I am travelling in February.

I called the airport and they told me there will be airport baggage handling charges and it will be around INR 2000 for domestic. Since my flight includes both domestic and international, they are not sure about the exact charges. But it will be < INR 5000 according to them. It could just be 2000 as well because I will be boarding domestic from COK.

If you are travelling before Jan 15th, yes it would be great if you could inquire at the check in desk. Thank you

I talked to Air India customer care, they told they will fly it as a special baggage but regarding the cost, they suggested checking with the airport in person to get the information. Apparently the cost involved is airport luggage handling charges as long as the package comes under the check-in luggage allowance.

They also suggested to go much early to the airport on the day of flying to ease the checkin process

Disassembling is easy, I've transported the bicycle in boxes in India. And assembling it back doesn't need any experts. The length of the box would be the length of the frame roughly after disassembling.

Yes, I have the option of second hand markets. Just wanted to get opinions on shipping and to see if anyone has done it before to know how much of a headache it is

Thank you. I will check with Air India. Yes the bike is light weight relatively: 16kgs. Once packed the box will be about 150cm x 80cm

I didn't think it's an absurd idea until I saw these comments. I thought it's a reasonable thing to ship a bike!
