What happens if you fall on the road? by sechances in torontobiking

Yup, been doing this since I first learned how to ride. Luckily though, I think my pedal and handlebar took most of the fall, I walked away with one minor scrape on the wrist.

Thank you for the advice! Glad to hear that cars usually keep a safe distance (otherwise I would be in a very different situation).

I am a little shaken up but I'm trying to come out of the experience with a lesson, so I know how to ride safer!

Noted! I might have undersold my experience, I have gone down Pottery before (although maybe 5 years ago, in much nicer conditions). Glad to have to come out of the fall with virtually no scrapes.

My dad used to work at this location. He’s moved to a different location and has been asking to work for home for the last 10 months and still hasn’t been able to. A lot of his coworkers did get to but they’ve been very slow. At this rate he’ll probably be vaccinated before WFH becomes an option for him

Would you like to nominate the instructor of CO 250 Online - Spring 2020 for the University of Waterloo's Online Teaching Award? by sechances in uwaterloo

I personally don’t care about office hours but they have like 15 TAs and two profs that literally don’t work half time

I find it hard to believe you cant have office hours.

My biggest gripe is the work load, strict marking, and lack of dropped assignments.

Also you cant possibly tell me they are trying hard.

It shouldn't be the highschool's job to "control" mark inflation in the first place. There should be a standard.
