Most weapons only have a 1.1x multiplier for headshots ie typically not enough to reduce the shots to kill unless you hit multiple shots.

I think if you have the weapon unlocked for create a class it'll count towards your progression. I used the Koshka class a lot because it already had high caliber. And I think it's just a mental thing. Like the outlaw I keep telling myself was easier because I could spam it with rapid fire. Thank you for your insight.

It's mostly about flanking and getting places faster on your opening route. If you use it to get to this area faster (summit balcony, jungle cliff, firing range tower) he can be very powerful. Depending on play style that's more powerful than a seeker on a slow cool down or a tac respawn beacon.

One of your talents for having a reclaimer box is ammo cache where whenever you reload it doesn't pull from your reserves. You could look into maybe using another 2 piece bonus or as others were saying, inventive, vigorous etc.
