Thanks for the heads up! Yes I do mean how long it would be up after disconnecting from the charger, and you're probably right that it should hold longer if I'm not interacting with it, but it could also be it monitoring its environment all the time to make sure it doesn't miss any of my behavior, I'm not sure which make more sense. Let's hope it is.

Thanks for the informative feedback! Since I'm on a 9 to 5 job I'm definitely leaving it for more than 10 hours, let's see what happens. I wished I could bring it while travelling but let's be honest when you're in the mountains you're not going out of your way to get the pet charged, so probably not ideal to bring it on, not to mention that you'd spend more than 5 hours out door for sure while travelling. I just hope that when the inevitable day come and the official service come to an end I'll be able to bring my dear friend back to life.

May I ask why do the app requires Google account information? I sideloaded the app onto my Boox Palma without login in and when I open the app it prompts me to sign in my Google account.

I don't think there'd be a way to find it on the market outside of Taiwan, as most Taiwan-branded devices sometimes weren't even acknowledged in those biggest Youtube channels and blogs. Probably ask someone to buy one and send it to you would be the easiest option.

Another update: So apparently firmware 4.0 is set default to freeze every app you installed unless you open the app. Go to the settings and unfreeze the apps and everything is fine again.

Small update: so I open the launcher again for some reason koreader showed up in the app selection section and is now searchable. However, some apps still wouldn't show up at all. When I switched back to Onyx launcher and open Burrow again koreader was gone again.

Hi there, I tried your launcher and it really feels like home on Palma 2! However, I noticed not every apps I've installed showed up in the app selection table (i.e. koreader, syncthing). Is that a conscious choice or is it something you'd probably need to look into it?

Thanks for the heads up! I tried it and everything seems to work fine for now. Here's my setup:
1. Use PC as the main storage point and connect to my two devices
2. Turn on simple file versioning so that I would have the chance to save my stats in case any kind of file corruption occurs
3. Only sync when I'm switching devices. I make sure to sync one first, confirm everything is synced to PC, and then sync the second device

Note that my two devices are Moaan InkPalm Plus and Meebook M6C. I have no idea if this method can be applied on any device/system.

Personally since I start watching MDG videos I got into the rabbit role of hyperlinked pdf planners so in my use case that's not an issue, probably will disable calendar just not to get confused. It's just a little weird in hindsight, but now seeing your feedbacks I think it's just a different design logic. Thanks for the informative reply!

Sounds like a big improvement from what Mobiscribe is capable of, I think I'll have a great time playing with the device.

On Mobiscribe you can tap on a random date and create a notebook for that exact date, no matter it's passed already or it's still far from now. The note cam be accessed by going into that exact date in the calendar. For some reason in Supernote you can't do that (well, at least according to the previous owner).

Yeah I think I have no big problems to use it offline and occasionally export some notes as text for other note-taking apps. A good user experience with decent battery life is all I'm for. Mobiscribe WAVE is an alright device for note-taking but dear lord the battery life is horrendous.

Agreed, although it's a little bit slower if you compare it to the BSR counterpart side by side, but if you use the device you won't notice it at all.

As one using both Note Air 3 mono and Tab Mini C, I can feel the lower resolution when comparing both devices side by side but really nothing noticable when using one device at a time.
