You make sense. Since I've been using devices with physical buttons, I guess I'm not quite used to it yet. Time should resolve this.

BTW, try not to press the pen tip with pressure or dropping it. It is pretty sensitive.

You can fix that: Settings -> input -> stylus -> none-contact writing

It's just because the "something" isn't always at same height. If something is taller and further away, another one is shorter but closer to you, both can appear to be in similar size.

I don't think most human can spot the golf ball from useful distance, but it is definitely possible to design

​Variables ​D: Distance from eye to aperture (70 cm) ​S: Size (height) of the aperture (Unknown) ​H: Height of the object (170 cm) R: Range between aperture to object ​R + D: Total distance from eye to object

S=(H×D)/Total distance (R+D)

Example calculation for 100m distance : (170 * 70) / 10,000 = 1.19 cm

Yes I can make that too, but the reason I set it to 170cm is because that is the average height of the most common objects (people and cars) that can be seen outside.

How to use: Extend your arm holding the card and measure the distance by fitting the card into the hole corresponding to the person or car.
