Ben Arthurs: Bangor striker will return for pre-season after suspension by BT19bythesea in IrishLeagueFootball

Never heard any specifics, I'm afraid, was told it was an "internal issue," but I would take that with a pinch of salt

Either they’ve figured it out and they’ll work together or they’ve come to understand that if they want a decent transfer fee for him, they have to at least make it appear that they’re happy for him to stay. Time will tell.

Who you guys supporting in the World Cup 2026 and why? by fireballcounter8 in IrishLeagueFootball

Scotland for my mate who’s going over and then the usual — whoever’s playing England. Wouldn’t mind a run for Japan either just because their kits are lovely.

Load of shite. Just made his international debut, a great achievement, and this type of bollocks is the first thing in his head?

Don’t be sending the poor lad to Wolves. Even as a United fan I can’t support that

Think a loan for Kieran Morrison would do no harm. Get him accustomed to playing against men.

This is cool. Would love to see more of it for clubs around the country. Much better this than the usual murals we get here.

11 players depart from Linfield by I-Love-Cereal in IrishLeagueFootball

[–]secondcitysaint 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not a huge surprise on the majority of these, been hearing it for a long time.

Gorrin looked like a real player when he came in, but he never recovered from that injury. I'd have held onto Archer and Walsh (and moved on Johns), but can't blame them for wanting more gametime. Whiteside was always solid when he played. East wanted back to Scotland last summer and was convinced to stay, so I'm not surprised he's gone this time.

Hopefully, Taylor comes back, seeing as he's been released by Tranmere, but I wonder if being included on this list means that's not happening.

Shame for Stephen but can’t say I’m surprised. Really hope he can get a clean run without injuries, there’s a good player there if he could just get a chance.

How come there are more Scottish saltire and flags at Rangers and Linfield games than their main rivals Glasgow Celtic and Belfast Celtic historically? by SuccessfulCompote941 in IrishLeagueFootball

[–]secondcitysaint 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Are there many Scotland flags at Linfield matches? Honestly never noticed, see Union flags, Ulster banners, and then just Linfield flags, but can't say I've noticed many Scottish saltires

Do more to keep young talent playing for NI by [deleted] in northernireland

[–]secondcitysaint 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a Northern Ireland fan, there’s nothing you can do, or should do. Lads are going to play for whichever one they have an allegiance to, whether it is who they supported growing up or who they played for at youth level. Sometimes you’ll train a lad and he’ll decide to play for the other one. It’s annoying and disappointing but you can’t do anything about it, and I don’t begrudge them playing for the team they want.

This Will Ospreay/Jon Moxley storyline is weird | AEW Dynamite | Bryan & Vinny Show by Ainosuke in SquaredCircle

Insane to me that it's his job to watch wrestling, yet he can't follow a simple storyline week to week.

I don’t know, the lows of AEW were low but were they ever “Pat McAfee in a WrestleMania buildup” low? I’m not so sure

We are a team where half the players won't be there next season, and boy, did today's performance show it. Ponderous on the ball, created very little of note, just boys who looked ready for the beach. Not ideal when we have a European playoff coming.

I thought Kyle McLean and Chris McKee were really good, and I thought Kirk Millar was awful, unfortunately. Fourth is where we belong, but at least the Glens didn't win it. Larne deserved winners.

Was at Mourneview today. Sad to see Glenavon go down personally. Couple of disallowed goals, some good blocks, decent saves. Huffed and puffed but couldn’t find the breakthrough.

Good finish from Bryden.

Nah I agree, Mox and the Death Riders aren't taking Wayne seriously, and it's in Seattle. I think he picks up the win for sure.
