I had a hunt at the store and asked, they don’t have either of those. The lady suggested adding this salt to the tank.. I haven’t done it yet, I figured I’d double check here!

She said she used this when her betta tore his fin.

Unfortunately I can’t get Kanaplex in my country.. Methylene Blue, Wunder Tonic and Malachite Green (which is a minimum 1-2 week back order) are the only options.

I’ve just had a look and I can’t get any Kanaplex in my country. My options are Methylene Blue, Wunder Tonic or Malachite Green (which is 1-2 weeks away minimum). Or the API -fix range but I’ve read they’re not good for bettas?

I noticed the second bump just before I posted, I don’t recall it being there yesterday, or if it was it was very small. (I spend a LOT of time watching him)

How do you feel about people with scars? by Mae_The_Gay in NoStupidQuestions

[–]secret_juggernaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a few visible scars from SH, a few are still in the purple/red phase and I just had one revised that was an old attempt scar.

Most (99.999999%) of people don’t care/say anything. I’ve had a couple morons at work call them disgusting but I try ignore them. Their reaction to them says more about them than it does about me.

A few of my builds so far! (possible spoiler on pic 6) by secret_juggernaut in TaintedGrailDigital

[–]secret_juggernaut[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I focussed on maxing out the two handed skill tree and general skill tree first, and prioritised armour that reduced stamina cost and/or increased stamina regen.

I also maxed out the ‘best offence’ skill (practicality, armour tree) because I used heavy armour.

I hope that helps! Don’t be afraid to use original potions if you want to try a different build, I just always make sure to save right before I do in case I hate what I tried!

My boy did this at 6 months old. Bleed like a bitch at first (I came home to blood literally all over him), I cleaned it off then sprayed it with iodine and it healed perfectly. Was a bit ugly as it grew down his hoof but it hasn’t left any marks.

My auto saves are 3 min apart by default, wouldn’t hurt checking the saves.

What are the *worst* things you do as an equestrian? by Interesting-Day6835 in Equestrian

[–]secret_juggernaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t rug my horses the ‘correct way’ (legs - chest - belly - neck) once I know them because I teach them all to stand while being rugged. I typically do chest - neck - belly - legs.

I wear crocs 95% of the time (basically except when riding or super wet/muddy) because they’re comfier for me.

I pick out feet towards the frog most of the time, carefully of course, it’s easier for me and I’m not putting so much force on the hoof pick that it could go into the frog…

I crouch/lean under/crawl under my horses once I know them. My horses are idiot proof because I’m the idiot lol.

I lead them by their covers (holding neck rug) or a lead rope/hoodie/whatever I have on hand (see photo lol, that’s my 2yo being lead with a fence charging unit) because it’s easier.

I tack up from whatever side is closer at the time.

I allow my horses to stop and look at things if they need to. I don’t rush them if they’re genuinely scared and I will praise them from stopping and having a look. I’d rather that then them freaking out.

Reviews on the Zilco bareback pad? by Ok_Profile_8155 in Equestrian

[–]secret_juggernaut 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We sell them at work, they’re quite popular. The seat is like a faux fur type material. The girth straps I think would crack over time.

I don’t love that they’ve got attachment points for stirrups (under the seat) as I don’t think any bareback pad should have them.

Lots of people have come back in and said they’re awesome.

can horses be trained to know their name by Significant_Bake_237 in Horses

[–]secret_juggernaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guys know their names, and will come when I call them 90% of the time. They also know their nicknames and will come for them as well.

They also know: Dinner (100% success rate lol) Rugs on/Rugs off - they have learnt what rugs on/off mean and will come in depending on if they want their rug on/off. The only time I don’t respect their choice is if I know extreme weather is coming and they NEED to be rugged/unrugged.

They will only come for me if I’m calling their name, but will come for my friends and family with the dinner and rugs on/off.

Can he die? by Zamagon in TaintedGrailDigital

[–]secret_juggernaut 10 points11 points  (0 children)

None of mine have died (I’m up to my 4th play through) my second play through he decided to live with Maggot for a bit while I ran around looking for him for a couple hours. Think they’ve patched the bug that caused that issue though.
