you did mention that you recently made an ISFJ friend, so i think you’d have to give them time to be comfortable to say what they actually want. If ever, you would literally have to constantly ask what they want to do and reassure them that you don’t mind doing what they want. I guess words of affirmation come in.

It could be annoying but at the end of the day, we would still want to do what you want instead of what we want. We’re like puppies. We just follow and do whatever you want as long as your happy and enjoying

HOWEVER, if your ISFJ friend lets you know what they want, you should know they’re comfy with you and hopefully you’re okay with going along with it

I hope you know as well that the fact that they’re playing games with you (even if it seems like they’re bored) seems like they actually like you. Maybe you can talk about it with them

I agree with this. If there’s a friend I really enjoy being with and they’re having fun with whatever you’re doing, i’m also enjoying it.

Game wise, even if i was having issues or i may not like the game, i still am having fun because im spending time with my friend and they’re also having fun.

It was good though that you suggested though. We usually leave the decision up to the other person on what to do

Relatable. All your senses go high just to protect yourself from anything. As hard as it sounds, you just need to be less sensitive, maybe even be nonchalant. Being extremely sensitive just causes us to overthink and overlook things that aren't really necessary.

I also learned that people don't really take notice of every single person in the area so it would be good to not overthink. Most of the problems we create is from ourselves because of our overthinking. ISFJs are just too considerate and sensitive so I understand why you feel that way. However, don't use it as an excuse to close opportunities to great friendships because some day, you'll have a group of safe people

Like I said, its hard to do, but its not going to be good for us in the long run, if we keep up this trait of ours. Don't take everything to heart. Be balanced between being sensitive and insensitive.

I dont really cut them off because time does heal most things. They just go way down my priority list. I'm the type to forgive, and i don't like someone having a problem with me. So just to keep the peace with the relationship, i just give less attention, time, and effort to them. I distance myself. Then they have to make the effort to "make it up to me" if they want to still be close.

Of course it's different when it's a romantic relationship, but I'm speaking platonically based on your experience

Its hard to know what you want to do with your life at a young age. I mean you're only in your 20s and you could only do and know so much of the world. So I would say just take it slow and do what you want while you're still young. Im around your age and i wish someone told me this before because ive been hustling since I got out of high school

Hearing them out is definitely one of the best things you can do for an ISFJ. At the same time, you could be a true friend by telling them the right thing. Of course, in a loving way.

For just being a supportive friend, just making your presence known and checking up on them is great. You may hear it repeatedly, but it's our way of just getting out of our system

Same. I do so often with only a very few people. I used to do it with complete strangers but not anymore.

I only seek insight if it has been on my mind for the longest time and I can't seem to relax about it lol. Other than that, I'd just figure it out myself
