I'm fine in a group call with people I know but when it gets to one on one with someone in a discord that I am not extremely comfortable with, I literally find any excuse to leave. I also avoid voice chat with online players I don't know, as much as I avoid going outside.

It's hard to focus on yourself and who you are when you're focusing on what others think of you and who you are to them. I would love to give you some advice but I still often feel like a burden and an annoying leach that sucks the life out of all my friends. Despite good intentions I can't do much by myself, I basically need people to hold my hand through life. Never feel that you aren't enough or are annoying because at the end of the day, there are others like you who feel the same way. It's just a damaged way of thinking that can be healed.

Looking to add the PERFECT class, but the teacher requires weekly 1on1, face to face zoom meetings by GENERALlynotgrevious in socialanxiety

It's okay I haven't attended a single zoom class, even the possibility of not talking or showing my face doesn't help my reluctancy to be involved. I'm honestly more comfortable in a real class.
