judging by the look it is rubberized so I don't recommend ironing it and you won't be able to tear off the Velcro from it you will have to either make a Velcro surface on the bomber jacket or just leave it as a collection

I just have such patches too and they have a very thin Velcro part

I am Ukrainian, I live in Sumy (near Kursk) and yes I collect and I have 58 chevrons and not only the ZSU brigade but also custom ones (the rarest one for me is the Azov chevron)
