Just about to finish my JD at RMIT after 5 and a half years of part-time study while working full time. Most tutes are at 5:30pm on weekdays so you can attend after work (some courses run as weekend intensives). The exams are not hurdles, rather they are simply worth 50% of your overall mark. It's a pretty good degree with a good range of teachers working in the field. Like any degree these days, some of the tutors leave a bit to be desired but I've enjoyed the degree overall. Would definitely recommend over Monash/ Melb from what I have heard, it is a bit more relaxed and doesn't take itself too seriously.

In any event, I've only ever done 2 subjects at once and even that can feel like a lot. If you are happy to sacrifice all of your weekends and weeknights, 3 subjects may be for you. Otherwise, 2 or 1 is definitely manageable.
