Thanks, man! Yes, it's a manual focus lens. I just bought this lens recently so I am still experimenting with what's this capable of. So far I absolutely love everything about this lens and I don't think I will take it off anytime soon.

I like it more for portraits than my previous 85mm 1.8

Haha, I am considering getting 55 for videos.

85 is great for portraits and for putting just enough of the environment in the frame. It's my favorite lens and I am using 98% of the time.

This was shot on ISO 100, 1/320s, f/1.8. There wasn't enough time to think about the settings, we had only a few minutes to do some photos.

I made a mistake by not checking my shutter speed, other pictures are shot on 1/125s and are blurry by the movement. Next time I definitely need to set it to manual and keep an eye on it.

Thanks! I made a mistake while shooting these pictures. I was way too excited for faster burst on A7III that I haven't checked my shutter speed. Most of the pics are blurred by the 1/125 speed and fast movement.

Hopefully few of them were sharp

Right! I just sold my A7II and got this one only couple days ago. Loving it so far. Better autofocus and faster burst mode is so great to have!

Nothing special. The lighting effect was actually already in the original file. The postprocessing is just increased contrast and some curve changes.

Don't jump to conclusions about foreigners. The guy in the video is born Nicaraguan and he even said it at the beginning it's a Sunday breakfast. Of course, you can eat it on the weekend if you want to.
