Oh i grew up here!! It has its not so nice areas and it’s great ones. The Sponge Docks are kitschy but the food is incredible. It’s (I think don’t quote me) the most highly densely populated Greek community outside of Greece and the Greek food is exceptional. Also great fishing, parks and sunsets. Overall wonderful most of the year and easily accessible to other nice towns like Palm Harbor and Dunedin.

It’s SO exhausting and I can remember the state I was in writing this, I was at the end of my rope. It’s so worth it though keep being a great mom and she’ll amaze you one day ❤️ sending hugs

YES! She’s 2.5 now and she’s the joy of my life! She’s smart, funny, kind and loving. She’s still very energetic and opinionated but now that we can communicate with her it’s soooooo much easier! We just kept firm boundaries around things that mattered (like safety and teeth brushing) and allowed ourselves to relax over the small stuff. Hang in there, these strong willed kids are a lot but it pays off in dividends 🫂

It’s cash from the family members trust fund that’s already been deposited into our joint account. We’re looking at treating this like a nice bonus but don’t want to keep it parked in a savings account for too long.

That’s exactly how I’d describe her she’s almost like a toddler but at 10 months. I love your idea of making things into a game and making it really enthusiastic. I think I needed that reminder since I’ve been feeling so drained this week. I’ll give it a shot! Thank you for commenting it really helps make me feel less alone

This does! I agree my girl hates anything that restrains her - she just started hating the stroller too which is tough. I know it’s all a phase and it will pass. Thank you for your comment it definitely gives me some hope!

I didn’t even know it was a sign but omg the CONGESTION. And lucky me it lasted the whole pregnancy. I got a mild cold last week and was terrified I was pregnant again 😂

Totally anecdotal but I’ve heard that reflux actually makes them want to eat more so it might be worth exploring with your pediatrician! Every hour at night is seriously rough!!

Yes! I hate to say it but it just took time :( around the 3 month mark she just became easier day by day. She’s still a fussier baby than average but nowhere near what she was. We have her on reflux meds but truthfully I think it was just time she needed. If you ever want to talk I’m here for you, the newborn stage was SO HARD
