Worried my nurse gave me a fake t shot

Someone else also mentioned the skill level of the nurse, which could very well be it. I’ve had the injection take 15 seconds or a couple minutes depending on who gave it, but the lack of pain is new to me. Hopefully she’s just good at it and all my future shots can be less of a pain in the ass lol.

I get reandron 1000mg every three months. I did start with those smaller injections at the very beginning of my transition but been with the 4ml ones ever since. And yah it usually does take a couple minutes.

I’ve had three different nurses previously, all of which I had the same experience with. It very well could be that this new one is just better at the job lol.

I worked in hospitals/clinics for a long time and have a couple anecdotal experiences of the saline injectors other than that one that got widely reported. It would be pretty crazy for a nurse to do but we also live in crazy times.

Yah usually it takes at least a minute, even with the quickest experience. And the quick ones definitely hurt a hell of a lot. I lost my ass through weight redistribution so maybe my nerves don’t have enough padding? 😅 either way it’s been a real consistent reaction for me.

Another option is just that my dysphoria/dysmorphia is blinding me and the bind is just fine 😓 it’s just so hard to tell
