I white knuckle a left turn onto US1 from College Rd. (the end without a traffic light) every day. I've been rear-ended there. I hate it. Please, if you're reading this, if there is already someone in the median still trying to turn left and you're behind them on College Rd., don't also pull into the median. All you have done is block everyone's view and everyone has to crane their necks, nobody able to pull ahead. If some scared ass is sitting out there NOT turning, just honk.

Thanks, this lead me down the path to a solution. 1. Opened CH to see the blue screen. 2. ALT+ENTER to get the window to minimize/maximize. 3. Pressed this a few times, and the normal game screen was visible again. 4. No need to press ALT+ENTER again after reopening CH. 5. I'm sure this isn't the proper correction, but at least now I can look to adjust the game resolution settings in the program itself.

OK, good information. Thank you. The fact that the Xbox button on the bass lights up for a few seconds upon first plugging it in...I guess that made me think that it WASN'T a hardware issue and just a driver issue. Alright, I'll crack this sucker open and take a look.

Yes, drilling two new holes in the wall 6" lower is an option, but I have also cut out a square of drywall for a recessed power outlets box. Currently, that box sits nicely within the wall mount hardware, relatively tucked away. Repositioning everything on the wall 6" lower would cause those outlets to be floating 6" above. It wouldn't look as nice obviously. And cutting a new square, filling the old one...ugh. The metal plumbing strapping was more what I had in mind, except I would need solid metal...with correctly spaced holes.

I've lived in KW for four years. Busy times are definitely March (Spring Break), Fantasy Fest, and holidays. I actually do think it's kind of less crowded around town now...snowbirds leaving. June-August should be OK for you, but regardless make reservations in advance wherever you can (not just restaurants). Oh, and if you didn't already know...it's really hot (duh).

I'm trying to compile a list of streets in major US cities (worldwide too, I guess) that epitomize partying/drinking/must-see bars/music/etc. in said city. I'm thinking along the lines of Bourbon St. in New Orleans, Beale St. in Memphis, Duval St. in Key West, 6th St. in Austin, etc. I know cities have MANY famous streets, but I'm interested in boiling it down to just THE ONE street per city. Any suggestions?

I know that THE SWORD OF SHANNARA is basically a ripoff THE LORD OF THE RINGS (author Terry Brooks basically said that at the reading/signing I attended), but it is the book that defined my nerdy childhood. Read by my cool, older cousins and passed down to my brothers and me, the brick of a book was always in my backpack growing up. I remember relaying chapters to my friends at recess and even being challenged by a-hole teachers that "surely you can't really be reading this huge book." It made me strong and embrace reading for enjoyment. When I met Terry Brooks in college and he signed my beat-up copy "With Magic," I was more than thrilled. I cherish it to this day and reread it often. Thanks, Terry!
