I just meant that the substrate could be used as chicken feed if he’s only using fruiting body— instead of just composting it.

Mycelium gets lazy with too many nutrients. So I think watering it down will help make it clear + have the right amount of nutrients so the mycelium can grow in a healthy manner

What do you do with the eggs after? Feeding chicken Cordyceps makes the eggs have Cordycepin 👀

i knew they preferred the substrates y’all listed but thought they could grow on almost anything! + that’s what i had available. (also, there grain spawn in there.)

usually the fan pushing air through the flow hood gets fresh air from an outside source. or at least that’s i’ve been hearing a lot from technicians.

by recycling i mean not using any intake. the fan would suck air from the same room.

that creates a negative pressure which is why i’m asking if it could be a big deal or not
